CHAPTER 38: Potent
Sandro was embracing me from behind... but not in a way that evokes sweetness and romance. His left arm around my waist, the other on top of my shoulder. His hands and arm were firm and tight— just enough to secure me and keep me from moving, but not enough to inflict pain. After all, with our bodies being this close, it's not pain that he is inflicting but sensations— and that's something more agonizing. Physical pain would have been bearable than this electrifying internal havoc.
"And how are you going to go home, little brat?" He whispered in my ear that made me shiver. "Walk your way there?
Not because I had the enough strength to do so, but he deliberately let me free myself.
"Hop in. I'll send you home."
"Go to hell." I said thickly and turned my back. Nahagip ko pa pagtiim ng kanyang bagang.
It's only a matter of seconds when I felt my feet left the ground.
"Then let's go to hell together, brat!"
How the hell did he get down from the horse so fast?!
The jerk just mockingly smirked on me and get behind me.
Mabilis ang pagpapatakbo niya sa stallion. I was trying so hard to sit straight to put space between us. But Sandro, the jerk that he is, pulled me closer.
"Your so stiff." He whispered in my ears and scoffed. His warm breath brought goosebumps at the back of my neck. "Chill, will you? Ihahatid lang naman kita pauwi. I don't bite, Lucy."
I hissed at him.
"My poor car..." I murmured as I looked passed through it.
I'll just send someone to tow it tomorrow.
"I didn't know that seeing your car in the middle of the road and you're not inside it could scare the shit out of me. I thought something happen. That's why I snapped when I saw you sitting in front of the farm's gate. Forgive my harshness."
Was he worried of me? I refused to believe.
This time, I was calm and relaxed. Nakaka-drain din ng energy makipagtalo kay Sandro. "Didn't she mention any places to you na gusto niyang puntahan?"
