Chapter 27: Memories

Sandro looked at her in mid-amusement and ridicule.

"Look..." "It's not... It's not what you think it is!"

"Spare me with the stupid games, will you, Lucy?" He replied coldly.

"I'm not playing any games here, Sandro Akim!"

She did not think twice and grabbed the key from the ignition switch. She showed him the key in her hands.

"We will not leave unless you take your shirt off." Firmness on her tone.

Sandro frustratedly closed his eyes and massaged the bridge of his nose. When his eyes flew open, the  coldness of his gaze sent shivers down her spine.

"Give me back the key, Luzeda."

"Not unless you t-take your shirt off."

Sandro blew a loud and impatient breath that he's starting to scare her though she managed to look bold.

"Look, if you're thinking that I'm initiating to have sex with you right now, dropped it." She decided to give it to him straight.  "I'm... I'm not the Lucy that I was four years ago. You're no longer even appealing to me right now!"

The last sentence was kind of... a lie.

"No one's thinking about sex, Lucy!" He looked at her in a mocking amusement.  "You haven't change a bit! You still always turn up into desperate measures kung hindi ka napagbibigyan sa mga walang katuturan mong kagustuhan. So don't give me that 'I'm no longer the Lucy that I was four years ago' crap. Because even until now, you're still that old brat bitch dressed in pure class." Wrath laced on his voice.

"I just wanted to see the scar in your back!"  She snapped. But her voice was cracked, in the pit of crying. Her grip on the key tightened that her hand would bleed.

"The scar that you got when you saved me... when I was a kid... in that greenhouse... an earthquake... y-you saved me..." From exclaiming, Lucy's voice went breathily low. The emotions in her heart were overwhelming that she was just incoherently uttering the memories she remembered after being forgotten for so long.

"That g-greenhouse and the sound of the b-broken glass triggered my childhood memories that my parents didn't want me to remember." "B-but I... I remember it now. I remember e-everything."

It was as if she was taking a drive to a memory lane of her childhood.
