Crazy.

Riya was still confused at Mimi's comment. Winston couldn't be the murderer. How did he watch Sally being dragged into a van knowing he deserved to be there instead? But she remembered after the funeral. Winston's shouting and him dismissing Mimi's questions. The camera that Winston assured everyone had all the evidence.

Perhaps the evidence Winston sent Riya and the rest of her peers was just a cover up. A coverup to frame that group - Riya, Mimi, Sonya, Max - saying that they infiltrated the funeral for whatever reason and that they were the real suspects. Perhaps that was why Winston refused to go inside the ceremony hall in the first place. Perhaps there weren't any cameras in the first place. If there were cameras, why did he need them?

She never expected Mimi to accuse Winston of the murder. But she had a point. Winston hated Mr Knight more than the whole Red Party did combined. Riya recalled the time one of her friends referred to Knight as 'President Knight' and Winston flipped.

"Don't you dare EVER call that disrespectful swine son of a.... bad parent a President ever again. You hear me!?"

The day of the funeral was a chance for Riya to beat the hell out of the Blue Party. To her they were murderers themselves, only this time they never got charged. All the dead people laying on the streets, the unemployed begging for spare change, the elderly factory workers - it was all the Blue Party's fault.

Mimi had a stronger motive though, for her parents died due to 'unexpected circumstances' but the truth was much more disturbing. Knight's party didn't like people who were actually educated and had opinions of their own. So they were killed - and a blue badge with the President's name was written all over it. The magnitude of disrespect was sickening.

The day of the murder was a happy day for the Red Party. They had a secret underground party. Mimi even made a cake with a picture of the murder scene printed on it. Everyone had a laugh - it was almost refreshing to see the Blue Party losing something for once. Not that it could be compared to the unnecessary deaths of hundreds at the hands of the Blue Party.

At that moment, anyone celebrating was a murder suspect Riya believed. So why did she think Winston was the murderer if the party was initially Mimi's idea. Mimi had every right to hate Knight - he murdered her parents.

Was her best friend actually the murderer?

                                                 ****************

"How much are we talking?"

The man crossed his arms. "Oh so you actually went through with it. I'm surprised."

Mimi laughed. "Yes. Now give me the money. How about 100k? Or perhaps 200?"

"I still don't get it. How did you get rid of him? Weapons? Poisoning? Fighting?" He asked, as he was unsure whether to pay her or not.

"That's not important. You told me to do the job and I did. Just give me the money." Mimi sneered.

He looked around his surroundings before handing Mimi a mysterious suitcase. It was heavy, since Mimi struggled to pick it up with one hand.

"Here's the money. Good job."

Mimi sprinted away from the poor neighbourhoods and back to the Blue House where her friends lived. What a double win. Knight was dead and now she was rich. She opened the suitcase expecting her reward sitting inside.

Instead she found multiple metal bars that made the suitcase heavy in the first place. With fast pace, she rummaged through but failed to find any money.

"What?" Mimi cried.

The dodgy man left a note inside.

"I knew you'd always do what I told you." It read.
