How did President Knight win all those elections if he's literally psychopath?" Sally asked John, but purposely ignoring Hannah as Hannah's lies could have ended her life.
"That's what us lot have been saying for ages! But people like you just don't listen." Maria hissed at John. "Let's not forget how you were Knight's little pet and poked fun at Allie's speech impediment. You're not all angelic. You're evil."
John chuckled, "If you were as intelligent as you keep saying you are, you'd realise the only reason why I was being nice to Knight was so that when he needed a new President I had a chance. I wanted to stop Knight's killings and start paying more money for the poor areas of this world. I'm sorry."John gestured at Winston and Sally, "The Red Party were never guaranteed a win in the election like the Blue Party."
Riya nodded. "So destroying it from the inside. A double agent?"
John smiled, "Yes."
Sally wasn't satisfied with her answer. "Why did The Blue Party win all those elections if Knight's crazy?"
Hannah tried to move away from the security guard and replied, "It's because the votes have always been rigged. One day I checked his chequebook and he's been paying those rich people in the main city millions to keep quiet!"
"And he's killed other people who knew about the votes but refused to keep quiet. Including my bloody parents!" Mimi added.
Winston stood there and marvelled at the revelation. He finally knew why Knight killed that old man back when Winston was a child. The man knew everything. And that was too dangerous for the Blue Party.
Hannah continued, "that's why Knight was threatening me on that day. He has a habit of killing people who know too much."
Sally interrupted, "Jury. Let this woman live," pointing at Hannah, "It's clear Knight has always been a murderer. He was going to kill this woman if she didn't defend herself. Let her walk free. I don't care if she lied. Just let her go."
The jury all nodded in agreement and the security man left Hannah.
The judge began, "No one has been charged with the murder of President Knight. Court dismissed."
A sigh of relief echoed through the courtroom.

"Sally thank you so much for what you did", Hannah said.
Sally stopped walking and faced her, "You should apologise", she lowered her tone. "You almost got me executed. You sat there knowing you were the murderer all along. And what did you do? You let me take the blame. Shame on you, woman."
"Sorry. By the way I've got a name and my name is Hannah."
Sally's aggression took centre stage, "You don't deserve a name. Actually, I don't want your half hearted apology and fake tears. That's for Youtubers who've been cancelled. Not bloody murderers!"
The rest of the Red Party including Sally left to go back to the Red House. Hannah sat on the pavement, contemplating her life choices. Was she right for letting Sally take the blame? Or was it cowardly? Whatever it was her thoughts were interrupted by a van that stopped in front of her.
"Hello Hannah." The woman, who was accompanied by another man also part of that same jury that freed Sally, greeted her, "you killed my brother. But don't worry, I won't hurt you."
Hannah smiled uncomfortably as the woman walked away and Hannah couldn't hear the woman's whisper.
"Just yet."
