Hey, this is my first story I've posted on Wattpad and I don't do facebook or twitter so I don't really expect anyone to read it, but if you do I hope you like it. And I'm sorry if it feels like it starts out a little slow but I had to write this otherwise the story wouldn't make sense =) Have fun!

Prologue
I stared at my computer screen without blinking as I tapped the end of my pencil against my notebook, thinking about how I could possibly make my essay different from anyone else's.
Why did I have to choose to write about Feminism? Everyone writes about feminism. I'd already filled everything else out; all that was left was the essay. There's no point in changing it so I have to write it. So... How to make it different... How to make it stand out...
Maybe I should pull some kind of 'Just One of the Guys' stunt. You know? Dress up as a guy and see how differently I'm treated. But that's too overdone.
No, I need something, fresh.
Maybe I should pretend to be popular. Ha- Wait... Not just popular, but, dumb. Pretty. Like one of the Barbies from school...
I can't do that, everyone here knows me.
But what if I went somewhere else? Where nobody knew me?
I could go to... Aunt Nina's... Oh my God I really am a genius! Well, I already knew that but anyway.
I felt a sharp pain in my head as my vision went blurry, and I cringed, closing my eyes. I had been staring at this screen for... How long?
"Too long," I groaned as my eyes flicked over to my clock, where the horrible red numbers read 02:08 am. I'd been sitting here for the past seven hours. God, no wonder I couldn't see properly.
I switched my computer off and stripped, pulling on sweatpants and one of dad's old ACDC t-shirts and climbed into bed, falling asleep almost the exact second my head hit the pillow. I dreamt of Barbies. Yay me.
