—————RP LINE DO NOT CROSS——————

It is gloomy, wet and cold, yet not for a select few residents of the forest. It is impossible to set a fire, due to the rain. Wonderful.

Fletcher: "Shit, the fire won't light"

Koda: "Should I fetch more wood?"

Fletcher: "No, there's no point. I guess we'll be sleeping in the dark tonight."

Koda: "I'll get the tent!"

Fletcher: "thanks, Koda- wait! Did you hear that?"

Yuko is stumbling through the bushes and thick vegetation, having already tripped over twice. She isn't very skilled in wandering places like this, and she certainly isn't in the right outfit for it. Her winged tabby-cat dæmon is a short distance above her.

Yuko: <whispering> "Keep quiet, Kali, do you see anything ahead?"

Koda's ears prick up at the sound of rustling leaves. He growls, low, and pounces at the small winged shape emerging from the trees.

There is a quiet yelp of pain from within the trees very close by, and Yuko comes stumbling out of the bushes, having tripped over once again when she felt the dull pain from her dæmon being pounced on. Thank god she hasn't felt all of it, though.

Fletcher: "Koda! Get away! Its a town girl!"

His own voice is close to a growl as well.

Yuko: "T-Town girl? Are you talking about me?"

Yuko slowly picks herself up and brushes off her dress that is slightly torn around the bottom.

Koda jumps and shifts to the form of a bird, flitting quickly back to Fletchers's shoulder. He still chirps indignantly at the newcomers from atop his perch.

Fletcher: <savagely> "Of course I'm talking to you"

Yuko: <raising an eyebrow> "Your dæmon can still change?"

She asks, not exactly pleased at being talked to in such a way, as her dæmon flies over to her and stands beside her legs.

Choosing to ignore this remark, he mutters,

Fletcher: "Koda, grab the tent and we'll go. With some hope she wont follow, and maybe she'll even forget about seeing us"

Koda quickly nods, snatching up the tent and leaping into the bushes around them

Yuko: "Hey, I can still hear you! Before you decide to leave so suddenly, can you at least tell me where I am?"

Yuko quickly says before Fletcher can make any more moves.

Fletcher: "Why should I tell you?"

Fletcher grabs the last few remnants of the camp and tries to slip past the girl and into the trees, but is stopped by a sudden weight on his back.

Yuko paused. He had her there. He didn't have any kind of reason to.

Yuko: "I won't leave you alone until you do."

She folds her arms and stands her ground stubbornly.

Fletcher: "What in the bloody hell!? I don't know much of where I am either! I only just got here, and I'm not staying long, so if you'll kindly let me go I'll be off to find my dæmon."

He pauses, face still crushed halfway into the mud, and asks,

Fletcher: "what's a town girl like you doing half a mile out of the village, anyway?"
