——WITH TOPAZ, FAITH AND YUKO——
Topaz has excused himself, following Golowen into the garden area. Golo has been shifting forms, muttering and just freaking the FUCK out.
Faith slowly emerges from the pile of boxes she was hurled into. She looks around and notices him leave, then follows.
Topaz: "Golo"
He kneels next to him.
Topaz: "Listen. Its okay"
Faith: "Golo! You good?"
Golowen: "NOPE- "
At this, he turns into a horse.
Golowen: "NOT AT ALL- "
Faith backs away slightly.
Faith: "He's shifting?! I thought he had settled!"
Golowen: "THIS JUST- "
His tail turns into a snake, and his arms into a cat's.
Golowen: "I DON'T KNOW EITHER!"
Topaz: "Golo. Calm. Down"
Faith: "Topaz, do you have any idea why he's doing this?"
Corcoran finally emerges from the neck of Faith's dress, after a long nap.
Corcoran: <Yawning> "Golo?"
Golo writhes on the floor, whimpering slightly. He looks utterly confused.
Topaz: "Well, I guess so. I feel like I'm myself again. Probably has something to do with it"
Faith: "Since when did mental state affect your dæmon?"
Topaz: "I don't know. I'm not a dæmon expert, but he was pretty messed up before. Like me"
Topaz stands up again, then stares at Golo.
Topaz: "Be something cool. Something that can walk, at least"
Golo mutters something that sounds like
Golowen: "A bit harsh"
He is still squirming on the floor, this time returning to a somewhat draconic form.
Topaz: "Hey, Faith. You don't seem to be very...hm. Involved?"
He shuffles, blatantly ignoring Golo's shifting.
Faith: "I just...don't want to be here right now. Its not the best place to be having a dæmon seizure"
Topaz turns, as if noticing for the first time.
Topaz: "I suppose you're right. Although I bet those fat cows don't give a flying fuck, as long as they get to keep their fancy ballrooms"
Faith: "Yeah, I don't get why Yuko wanted to come here"
Topaz: "Speaking of which, where is she?"
Faith: "Probably with her fancy people. Imma go check"
Yuko is completely ignoring the commotion going on outside, participating in a dance in the middle of the room with joy on her face.
Faith notices her and pushes herself through the crowd to speak to Yuko.
Faith: "Have you not seen what's happening?"
Still outside, Topaz speaks to Golo in a hushed tone. He seems to be both annoyed and concerned; the tone of his voice is indistinguishable.
