——WITH YUKO AND GOLOWEN——
Golo smashes through the forest. His singing has by now reduced to humming, but still he bobs along to the tune in his head.
Yuko: "Hey, Golo? How much further? My legs are starting to get tired"
Golowen: "Not much. But remember, the hardest part will be scaling the cliff"
They round the corner and finally reach the base of the cliff.
Golowen: "Right, here we are. I need you to climb up, grab the bag, and climb back down again. We can't waste any time"
Yuko: <nodding> "Okay..."
Steps closer and scouts the cliff-face, trying to remember which way she had climbed last night. She shuffles back and forth for a better angle, before Golo startles her from behind.
Golowen: "Yuko, what are you doing?"
Yuko: "Eek! Y-You scared me!"
Golowen: <Snorting> "Just get up the cliff. It can't be that hard"
Yuko huffs, but begins to ascend the cliff, clinging warily on to all the grab-spaces she could find. Her and Kali near the top of the cliff, and climb over. A short time passes, and then Yuko peeks back over the edge and dangles the bag down at Golo.
Yuko: <Triumphantly> "Got it!"
Golo: "Okay, now come down again, but go carefully"
Yuko nods and begins to descend the cliff, though slower now, as she cannot quite see where her feet are stepping. She attempts to reach her foot down, but slips, and falls back down towards the ground.
Yuko: <Screaming> "WAAAHHHH-"
Golo leaps up and swoops under her, catching her as she falls. He lands, and deposits her onto the ground.
Yuko stands, warily, still shaken by the fall.
Golowen: "There, safe and sound"
Yuko: "T-thanks"
Golowen nods, satisfied.
Golowen: "Okay, time to go- "
A roar sounds from far off in the trees.
Golowen: "That's Koda. Quick, on my back, let's go"
He leaps into the sky and soars over the forest, towards the source of the noise.
