I work as a reporter in New York City. And I love it!
I first knew I wanted to be a reporter in my junior year of high school when we had a writing assignment in English. We were told to write a news article about anything going on in the school. I decided to write about the lunch food and how it "might not be as nutritious as you think." Apparently my article was so good that the teacher used it as an example for the class and 60% of the people that were buying lunch stopped. The lunch ladies hated me, but at least I got and A+ and knew what I wanted my occupation to be.
Now as a 21 year old girl straight out of college it is everything I could have ever wanted. Except for my boss.
His name is Kenny Johnson and he is a semi-attractive blonde haired 25-year-old man with a medium build and height and pale skin. Ever since my first day of work he always gave me the evil eye. He never does or says anything particularly mean but he gives me dirty looks and whenever I need to talk to him he only answers briefly.
Also people at work don't seem to like me either. I've always had a little trouble making friends but I can't tell what about me is wrong. I have dark brown hair with porcelain coloured skin and naturally rosey cheeks. I am very short and my hair comes down to my mid-back. I always got straight A's and I love to sing but nobody knows. And I love One Direction, but hate Harry Styles.
Suddenly while I was sitting at my cluttered desk my boss's helper, Tiffany, came up to me. Tiffany was just a stuck up bit- (well, you get it) and she didn't really like me much. She was tall, skinny, blonde, and very pretty.
"Kenny wants you," Tiffany said without really looking at me. She blew a bubble with her gum and walked away.
What? Why would Kenny want me? Oh god, this can't be good...
