𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟒

I did some thinking for a few days, and before I knew it, I was outside a dojo that went by the name "Cobra Kai."

Aisha had told me a few days ago that it was only her and Miguel, but it seemed that there was quite a crowd at the dojo. even Eli and Demetri were there.

The kids started walking in, so I followed. I stood in between Eli and Demetri while Aisha and Miguel were warming up.

Suddenly a blonde dressed up in a black gi and headband, entered the room. "QUIET" he shouted.

Everyone turned their attention to him. He looked familiar. it couldn't be johnny lawrence could it?

Flashback:
My dad took me to some weird alley with him. it was unfamiliar, but if I didn't follow him, I was afraid he would hurt me.

Since he didn't tell me where we were going, I was afraid the moment I had been dreading for so long was finally happening.

I thought i was being sold. But it was worse.

"Listen here you little prick. I'm done with you fucking up my life." my dad whispers in his scratchy voice while pinning me against a wall.

He was going to kill me. Throw me in a hidden dumpster he had found. So nobody would know that I ever existed.

Suddenly an ill looking blonde man appeared. I felt a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders. I thought I would be able to escape my dad.

"HEY GET OFF HER NOW" the blonde man shouted.

Before I knew it my dad was groaning with pain on the ground with the blonde man standing over him.

"Hey kid are you okay?" the man asked touching my shoulder making me flinch.

"Hey hey hey, normally I don't like it when people flinch but it seems like this guy has really messed you up huh?"

i looked down and mumbled "yeah" i looked back up into his eyes "please don't tell anyone. if he were to ever find me again the worst things will happen. but thank you for saving me. at least i'll get to live a little longer." i said fake laughing quietly.

"i'm chloe by the way." i said holding out my hand "johnny, johnny lawrence." he said taking my hand and shaking it lightly.

Flashback over

I snapped out of my flashback when I heard the man yell at everyone "fall in" I began to fall in, like Miguel and Aisha. It seemed that nobody but us three knew what "fall in" meant.

Demetri obviously had to have one of his iconic smart ass moments. Typical.

Then I realized Johnny looking at me. I looked back at him. "Hey kid, do I know you?" he said raising an eyebrow.

"Um yeah we bumped into each in a random alley once." I said scratching the back of my neck and looking down. He just nodded. I knew he remembered exactly what happened. He obviously knew I didn't want him announcing it so he quickly moved on.

We did some jab punches and he walked around critiquing everyone. He looked surprised at how well I was doing. He was probably confused why I didn't use those moves when my dad abused me.

But he still kept quiet about it which I really appreciated since I knew he pretty much had no filter and would speak his mind whenever.

Suddenly I heard him calling some kid by the name "lip"

I immediately knew he was talking to Eli. I felt so bad for him. Even though I've been through so much more then he has. I still felt bad. I know what it's like when people pick at your insecurities.

I walked with Eli to the dojo. I was proud of him still going even though sensei was pretty rude to him.

We walked in, this time everyone knew what "fall in" meant. There were much fewer people too this time since sensei lawrence insulted many people countless times. Before I knew it, sensei was already picking on Eli.

Again I felt guilty. Almost like it was my fault. Even though it wasn't. He left the dojo. I was afraid this would happen. I excused myself.

Luckily sensei didn't notice. I saw Eli sitting on the curb crying. I needed to make this right.

"Hey." I said quietly while sitting down on the curb next to him. he looked up at me. hot tears still streaming down his face.

Now I felt horrible. I placed a hand on his shoulder rubbing it comfortingly. He looked like he needed it.

"Don't let him bring you down Eli. He only wants whats best for you. I know what he's saying can be hurtful, but trust me, it'll all be worth it in the end." I said smiling.

I wrapped  my arms around him so he could have a shoulder to cry on. It was unexpected but I knew he needed it. He needed the comfort I never got. He seemed thankful. He eventually calmed down.

"Thank you Chloe. It really means a lot. Demetri probably never would've done that for me. It's nice to have a friend who doesn't only wanna read comic books and play video games." he said smiling.

I smiled back. He seemed to comforted even by just looking at me.

Eli's pov:
Chloe had just comforted me how nobody else ever could. She made me feel safe and warm. Like nothing could hurt me. Her beautiful blue eyes made me feel like I was just looking at crystal clear water. Her hair was beautiful and chocolate brown. Her smile seemed like it could light up the room. I could tell she was very introverted just like me. But behind that beautiful smile of hers, I could tell she was in pain. She was hurting on the inside. I felt selfish making it seem like my life was hard. I never knew what exactly she was going through, but I knew it was way worse then being made fun of.
