𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟑𝟑

Chloe's POV:
We were currently in gym class getting ready to play soccer, which I was actually a little excited for since I'm pretty good at it.

The teacher let us pick teams, and no surprise all of the people in Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai ended up on separate teams. Cobra Kai picked me to be on their team which made sense since I used to be a part of Cobra Kai.

I started the game as a center forward. Throughout my life I was constantly playing club sports to get away from home. I played club field hockey for about 10 years, sometimes I still play. I also played club soccer and lacrosse for about 2 years so I was decent.

The game started off normal, passing the ball back and forth, get close to scoring, defense clearing it out, and so on.

Things quickly started getting aggressive once Sam body slammed one of our players. If I hadn't known Sam better, I would've assumed it was an accident, but since she seems to have built up anger, it was definitely on purpose, considering she then stepped on his chest.

Hawk scored a pretty clean goal, and ran around like a lunatic. He's such a stereotypical boy in gym class. He looked cute though so I couldn't complain, he even winked at me which made me laugh since he's a dork.

He then saw some Miyagi Do's laughing at him getting excited which made his anger rise. He then pushed an innocent boy on the other team.

The whistle blew after the ref had enough.

"Take it easy on the physical contact!" she shouted.

Demetri then saw an opportunity to go up to Hawk and talk to him. I couldn't hear what he was saying, but I knew he was pushing Hawk's buttons.

Demetri then swept his legs after he got the last word. Ok I was just about done.

Another whistle sounded from the ref, "Hey!" she shouted at us again.

Demetri then said another thing with a cocky smirk while looking at my boyfriend on the ground.

I went up to help Hawk but he pushed me away quickly and got up.

"Hey sorry I just wanted to make sure you were ok. Take it easy." I said shocked he had pushed me away.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." He said out of breath.

I always loved how he didn't argue with me when I was hurt by something he did.

Hawk began whispering to the other boys and I knew he wasn't planning anything good.

Hawk then pretended to hit the ball with his head but then "accidentally" head butted Demetri. I didn't like how he was stooping down to his level.

Hawk then "accidentally" kicked the ball straight into another boys chest. I tried to just continue playing, but it was hard when it was basically just a bunch of kids "accidentally" hurting each other.

The whistle continued to blow to call penalties, but it was all ignored, everyone was too sucked into the game.

Miyagi-Do then continued to kick the ball at people, trip them, caused them to ram into each other, etc. At this point both teams were being assholes.

After one final blow of the whistle the ref yelled, "You know what that's it everyone to the principals office now!"

As we were all walking I pulled Hawk aside.

"What the fuck was that? I get that it's hard to ignore it when they're being physical but if you just had ignored them it would've been only them getting in trouble! Now I'm being dragged down with you. What's going on with you Eli?" I whisper-yelled.

He looked down and heavily sighed.

"I'm sorry. You're right it would've been smarter to just let them dig their own graves. I just got so in the moment and I was angry and it wasn't just the physical stuff it was the comments too." He replied.

"I know. They're all dicks, and trust me I will be giving Demetri a piece of my mind, because he's my friend too and he can't be this way to you anymore. But you can't do anything to him either." I said.

"Ok. I love you." He said leaning in for a quick kiss and hug.

"I love you too." I muttered into his shoulder.

We walked down the office and we each had to go in one at a time. I made it clear to the principal that I truly had no idea how it started and that I really tried to just keep playing.

She obviously believed me since I almost had a completely spotless record at that school. Besides the final fight about a month back, but I turned myself around and the principal knew that.

After basically glaring at each other the whole time, we all watched Hawk walk out of the office and the principal looked at all of us on the red team.

"Caldwell, Johnson, Rickenberger, Lloyd, the four of you and Eli are free to go." She said to us calmly.

We all smiled and walked away with relief. All of the miyagi-dos shouted protests as we walked away, it was so nice to see them getting what they deserved.
