Chloe's POV:
"Hello?" I said holding my phone up to my ear.

"This is the West Valley Hospital we have a possible relative here, he told us to call you and let you know that we have him here. He goes by the name oh Johnathan Lawrence."

I cursed under my breath knowing he probably got into some stupid street fight. I sighed.

"And what exactly is he in for?" I aksed the lady.

"A few minor injuries, we're just gonna keep him here for a while and since you're considered family you're allowed to visit if you'd like."

"Alright I'll be over in a bit." I said hanging up. I sat on my bed and sighed. It's like ever since the fight he just let himself go.

I hopped onto my motorcycle and sped off to the hospital. My thoughts racing the entire time, just some random thoughts that I really shouldn't be worried about, and obviously the fact that Johnny is pretty much my child now.

I also had school tomorrow which I was pretty nervous for. Since I had been suspended with all of the other kids in the fight.

"What the hell Johnny? It's like you just let yourself go!" I said sitting next to him.

"I'm sorry kid. It's just been really hard not knowing if Miguel is gonna be ok. And it's also been hard knowing how much you've been going through." Johnny said looking down.

"Well the front desk also informed me that you were in jail. Do you know how hard it's gonna be to get a job now?" I said getting worried for Johnny.

Walking through the school doors was gonna be hard. But I had to do it. I'm not gonna lose to fear. A sigh escaped from my lips as I walked in and almost immediately got my bag checked by security.

It was hard having such a huge scar on my face. I couldn't just cover it up with a jacket like Sam could. It was out in the open for anyone to see.

I immediately smiled when I heard the voice of the one and only Eli. I ran up to him and grabbed his shoulder pulling him into a hug.

"There she is!" He said kissing my cheek throwing his arm over my shoulder.

A smile crept onto my face and chuckle escaped my mouth.

"Hey! Just so you know, that scar is pretty badass!" Assface said trying to keep me from covering my scar. I sent him a nod as a "thank you" to let him know I appreciated him trying to cheer me up.

I noticed Hawks arm got more tense around me and his grip got stronger. I looked around to see why Hawk was acting this way and I met eyes with Demetri, Douchebag (or Chris) and Nathaniel.

My smile fell and I became tense as well knowing what Demetri did to Hawk.

"Got something to say?" Assface asked angrily.

"Yeah check out my new Lit book. A lot of hard-hitting shit in here." He said holding up his text book.

"All the security isn't enough to protect your scrawny ass." Hawk growled at Demetri.

"I don't need security." He answered quietly.

"Around me you do." I said stepping up making Demetri remember when I came at him in the school fight.

"Everything alright here?" Counselor Blatt said concerned once she walked up to us. She always annoyed me and was too nosy.

"Oh! We're all buddies here!" Demetri said throwing his arms around Hawk and I immediately making me tense up from his touch.
