𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟕

Chloe's POV:
"So, since your dad knows pretty much to always be armed, does that mean he's gonna be armed this time?" Hawk asked in a slightly paranoid voice.

"I wish I could say no but he most likely will have some sort of weapon. But he'll only try to hurt me so don't worry."

"I'm still gonna worry because I care about you and I don't want you getting hurt."

"Wait, you don't think your dad will have a gun or anything do you?"

"Definitely not. He doesn't even know where to get one so he normally just uses a knife, or a curling iron."

"A curling iron?"

"Yeah. He uses it to burn me but he hasn't used that one in while."

We then arrive at my house. It looks like a normal house. Not super big, not super small. Just a very normal looking house. Although the inside looks like a dump.

"Alright listen up closely Chloe, I have a plan."
Hawk said proudly.

"Well I also have a plan and mines better since I know my own house more then you do pretty boy."

"So, I'll go inside in the front door like I always do, and the back door is always unlocked since my dad doesn't give a shit if someone breaks in. You go and wait outside the back door and look in the window to see what's happening. If you see anything bad, that's when you come in. easy enough?"

"Yeah I still think my plan was better though."
he said shoving me jokingly.

"Yeah whatever pretty boy."

He's now at the back door. My hearts beating out of my chest. I'm really scared. What if he hurts Eli? What if he kills me? What if the Eli gets scared and runs off so I'm stuck like this?

I finally decide to suck it up and just walk right in.

"Dad I'm home!" I immediately hear someone stomping downstairs.

Shit. He has a knife. And they knife goes straight to my neck. great.

"Listen here you prick, if you ever expose that scar like that in public again, I'll kill you." my dad screeched in that evil voice of his.

Then I hear the back door open. Thank God.
Hawks POV:
I see the knife on her neck. I suddenly get this sensation of anger come over me. Even if i get myself killed, I have to protect her. Before I know it, I open the door and barge in.

"HEY GET OFF HER NOW!"

"HEY IF YOU DONT BACK UP RIGHT NOW ILL KILL HER!" her dad screeched back at me.

"Okay okay okay, i'm backing up, just please don't hurt her."

"Too bad." he said smirking.

And right there and then, he slashed the side of her stomach making her yelp in pain. That was it. He crossed the line. Before I knew it I ran after him and beat the shit out of him.

He then crawled out the door.

"AND DONT EVER THINK OF COMING BACK YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

I then see Chloe on the ground in pain.

"Hey, are you okay? let's get you to the hospital."

And quicker then ever she wraps her arms around my neck. Burying her head into my chest.

"Thank you" she says between her cries of happiness and pain while her head still on my chest.

I quickly wrap my arms around her back, rubbing her back, and never wanting to let go.
she pulls away.

"Thank you so much for getting me away from him. I've been waiting my entire life to be able to say I'm safe." she also said this with tears going down her face.

I wipe her tears with my thumb. "alright let's take a look at this cut." I lift up her shirt so you can only see her stomach, and the cuts really bad.

Chloe's POV:
I'm in the hospital room. They just finished sewing up the cut. I was still never planning on tell anyone about my dad until I was ready. Hawk was holding onto my hand then entire time. It was nice to squeeze his hand when it stung the most.

"hey you like skateboarding right?"
the boy said trying to distract me from everything that's going on.

"Yeah. it's one of the only things that can almost completely get me away from home life." I replied.

"Well I was wondering if one night you wanted to sneak to a skate park with me. Just the two of us you know? I think it would be good for you to get away from all that just happened."

"Sure! Wait....holy shit are you asking me on a date Eli??" i said laughing.

"It depends would you like it if I was?"

"Sounds good to me." I replied smiling.
he smiled back.

"It's crazy how much can happen in one day you know?"

"Well back at my house, this stuff happened almost every day." I replied with an airy chuckle.

Eli eventually had to leave. I could only help but think about where I'm going to live.

"You have a visitor." The doctor said smiling.

Now I was really curious who was visiting me.
When they walked in Immediately noticed their blonde hair. It was Sensei.

"Hey kid. How are you doing?"

"I'm alright. Why'd you come here again?"
I asked the blonde.

"Look kid I could really use some company at home and I know you need a place to stay at so I was wondering if you wanted to move in with me?"

I was really close to sensei. He was really like my father so I was comfortable living with him. I was actually excited since I would get to live with a loving person who actually cared about me.

"I already have a room set up for you with a bed, a tv, and a closet. You can add whatever decorations you would like."

"Sounds good sensei." I said smiling widely.
