When we got to the building I opened the door for her. We got in and went straight to the studio. She happily skipped inside the studio. Y/n got her painting tools ready and so did I. I took my easel and set it beside her. She was already sitting on the stool. "look." She points towards the window using a paintbrush. She was right, You can see the whole garden from here. It's beautiful.
I took a new watercolor paper. I didn't want to continue my canvas drawing from yesterday. "What are you going to paint?" She asked while focusing on her watercolor paper. "Waterfall," I replied and start a rough sketch. "You?" I said and start mixing colors with the paintbrush. "Spring." She smiled.
"What are you going to start with?" She asked, painting the first flower. "Trees, but I'm not that good at it yet," I confessed. "It's easy, I'll show you." She stood up and stood behind me. Y/n picked up the thinnest brush and bend forward. Her face is closely next to mine. "You start with a thin branch." She drew a straight line after dipping the brush into the dark brown paint. "Then, using this brush." She picked up a fan brush and showed it to me. She dipped it in green. "You gently pad it on the branch, all the way down." She drew. I stopped looking at the painting. My eyes were fixed on her. When she was done, she turned her head and looked at me. We were both staring at each other. When a brush fell we looked away. She cleared her throat "That's one of the ways to paint trees." She said and I nodded. "Thank you." I thanked her and bit my lips. For a second, I felt like kissing her.
A few hours passed by and it was fun. Painting while talking to her about. Well about everything. About everything except our lives. Not once she asked me about my life. I feel like telling her myself. "Why art?" She asked. "You could choose any other course, why art? It seems to me you're already good at it." She said, looking at my almost done waterfall. "Hmmm, let me think...I don't know." I realize. I really don't. "Have you always been studying arts?" I asked her back. She shook her head. "Nope, I just came here because I'm bored. There's not much left to do anyway." She said. I furrowed my eyebrows. 'Not much left to do?' I was going to ask her about it, but my phone rang. I looked at the clock and hit myself on the head. 'The photoshoot!' I forgot about it. I picked up the phone. Jin Hyung is already waiting at the front entrance. "Y/n, I have to go now," I said and picked up the brushes. "It's okay I'll clean it for you. You can go. I know your busy." She offered. "Really?" I stood in front of her. She was sitting on the stool. She looks up and nods in reply. As she took the brushes from me, one of them fell. Picked it up and it happened again. As I was standing up to give her the brush I stopped when my face was at her height. I stared at her, but this time she looked at me dearly and smiled. "You're going to be late." She tilts her head and took the brush. I smiled and nod. "Thank you y/n." I thanked her and picked up my bag. As I was leaving I walked backwards and look at her until I reach the door. She shook her head and laughed when I hit the door with my back. "Bye!" I waved and she waved back.
