what do you call home?
I say it's having a roof over me
protecting me
something to keep me safeI don't believe in a forever home
you have the whole world to live in
why must you stay in one house?I haven't had a choice to stay
always movedI heard you've lived in the same house
since you were a child
how lucky could you be
to feel loved
and at homemoving from town to town
city to city
i know what home feels like
my family makes my home
my old stuffed animals at the bottom of my bed
the warm hugs of my mom
makes me feel at homethen there's the open road
connecting to every other road
I drive over borders
under bridges
just to be met at a new door
