𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐧𝐞 - 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘪𝘴𝘩

Draco was confused. He heard a lot of yelling from that room, and it didn't sound like Hermione agreed to stay.

"Harry, are you sure that she said she was gonna stay?" He asked wrapping his arms around his lover's waist.

Harry nodded. He didn't trust his voice because he had always been a bad liar.

"Okay, let's go discuss the details with her then," Draco declared. Harry panicked inside.

"She's really tired and isn't up for talking right now, but she told me that she would like to stay with Ron if that's possible," he lied. "And she is great with computers and stuff like that. I remember you telling me that you need a new hacker."

He sucks at lying, we need to work on that - Draco thought.

"Harry, stop. I know that she said no, you need to respect her wishes if she doesn't want to stay then she doesn't have to," Draco tried to reason.

"No! Because if she doesn't stay then she dies and she's not allowed to die," Harry insisted.

"Harry-" Draco started but the ravenette cut him off.

"Since when do you care about respecting people's wishes anyway? You forced me to join the gang."

"That was different. I forced you to join because I couldn't kill you. I was attracted to you," Draco said firmly.

"Right because Draco Malfoy always has an excuse. You were attracted to me so I guess that made it okay for you to force me into a gang," Harry said sarcastically.

"Harry it's not like that and you know it," Draco reprimanded.

"Draco, I just don't want her to die, is that so hard to understand?" Harry said as tears threatened to fall. Draco's eyes widened.

"Okay fine, she can stay," he said quickly to make sure Harry wouldn't cry.

Harry smiled happily and hugged his lover again. "Thank you, blondie."

"No problem stumpy."

An hour later, Ron and the twins dragged Hermione to Ron's car. Ron agreed to let Hermione stay with him until they trusted her with her own place. Just like they planned to do with Harry.

Harry felt extremely guilty and selfish for lying, be he already lost a lot of his family and he didn't want to lose anymore. He went home with Draco and went straight to his room. Draco was a little upset that Harry didn't want to go to bed with him but he didn't say anything.

In the middle of the night, Harry snuck into Draco's room and snuggled up to the blond. The ravenette couldn't sleep in his room, he didn't know why but he missed the warmth that Draco provided. It was comforting.

He fell asleep with his head on Draco's chest listening to the beat of his heart. And Draco unconsciously wrapped an arm around Harry, making the ravenette feel safe.
