One Year Later
"So where are we going?" Harry asked for what felt like the hundredth time. Draco rolled his eyes and just kept driving.
"Harry, do you know how surprises work? I'm not supposed to tell you where we're going," Draco chuckled. Harry groaned.
"I don't see why you can't just tell me. I'm going to find out anyway," he complained.
"Exactly you're gonna find out soon so be patient," Draco smirked. Harry glared at him.
"I hate you," he declared.
"You love me," Draco said.
"Maybe, but I hate surprises," Harry admitted.
"We're almost there."

When they arrived, Draco opened the car door for Harry and they walked into a restaurant. Harry rolled his eyes.
"Not that I'm ungrateful but... really? This was the big surprise? Draco, I love but you're very dramatic," he said.
Draco scoffed. "For one, we've never been on a date before so I thought this would be a big deal, apparently not. For two, you're the dramatic one here not me."
Harry stared at Draco shocked. The two had been dating for almost two years and they've never been on a date. It just wasn't their thing. He cleared his throat and said,
"How was I supposed to know we've never been on a date before? Excuse me for forgetting. A lot of things have happened."
"I guess so," Draco agreed. "Now let's go to our table."
Soon after the couple sat down the waitress came and greeted them.
"Hi my name's Claire and I'll be serving you tonight," she said with a nice smile.
They ordered their drinks and waited for her to come back. She came back and Harry noticed that she undid two buttons on her shirt showing more cleavage.
Thirsty bitch - he thought annoyed. He looked over at Draco who was sipping his wine like nothing happened.
"Draco," he said. Draco hummed in acknowledgment. "She was flirting with you."
"No, she was flirting with you," Draco corrected.
Harry choked. "Me? No, she wasn't. I'm short and... and a-a bottom. Why would she flirt with me?"
"Some women like to dominate men," Draco said like this was a normal conversation. "Trust me, love, she was flirting with you."
"No, she wasn't."
"Okay sure," Draco said sarcastically.

After a nice meal, they walked back to the car. Harry felt something in his pocket so he got it out. It was a napkin. With the waitress's number on it.
"Draco!" He shouted surprised.
"Yes?"
"You were right!"
"About?" Draco asked. "I'm right about a lot of things you have to be more specific."
"The waitress," Harry said. "She gave me her number."
"Oh I know," Draco said and started driving to their next destination. "I saw her put it in your pocket."
"And you let her?" Harry asked with disbelief. Draco nodded and shrugged.
"I didn't see any competition," he said confidently. Harry snorted and was quiet for the rest of the drive.
❥❥❥
They pulled up at Sirius and Remus' house and walked in. Harry gave his godfathers a big hug and tried to ask them what was Draco's surprise. They didn't tell him.
Remus smiled and Draco. Draco smiled back. Sirius glared at Draco. The blond gave a nervous smile in return. Sirius led Draco to the backyard and Harry went to follow but Remus stopped him.
"Harry, do you not know the definition of surprise?" Remus sighed. "You're not supposed to know."
"I know but," Harry groaned. "Can you just tell me? I promise I won't tell."
"No, Harry," Remus said as he got a text from Sirius telling him to bring Harry outside. "Come on."
"Finally," Harry sighed as he followed Remus outside.
When they got out there he saw Draco on one knee with a ring box in his hand.
"Will you marry me?"
❥❥❥
Draco panicked as he stood at the alter waiting for the other groom. Harry was taking forever. He was supposed to be walking down the aisle fifteen minutes ago.
Draco felt his palms get sweaty as another minute went by. He was just about to ask what was going on but then Harry appeared looking gorgeous.
Draco was wearing a formal black tux. While Harry had on a creamy white tux. He nervously walked down the aisle and smiled when he made it to the alter.
"Took you long enough," Draco muttered. Harry rolled his eyes.
"My suit ripped," he muttered back. "Why, were you nervous?" He teased.
"Fuck off," Draco said as the ceremony began.
❥❥❥
After one beautiful ceremony, a very sexual honeymoon, a failed adoption, a lot of unnecessary arguments, and multiple occasions of make-up sex.Draco and Harry grew up together. They tried to adopt a child because Harry really wanted one but the adoption failed. They didn't try again because after that they decided it wouldn't be best to have a child due to Draco's career.
But they were happy with each other.
And that's all they would ever need.
