Harry stared at Hermione's computer screen blankly. He couldn't bring himself to breathe. He couldn't bring himself to blink. He couldn't bring himself to look away. He was just numb as he watched blood leak from Draco's shoulder.
Hermione on the other hand was being useful. She told everyone about Draco getting shot and they all ran to Riddle's office to help him.
Before Riddle had shot him Draco managed to shoot the older man in the head so Riddle was just laying there dead. And Draco was about to join him.
Once Hermione did everything she could, she turned to Harry and attempted to shake him from his trance.
"Harry!" She called shaking his shoulder. Harry continued to look at Draco's limp body. "Harry, Draco's going to be okay. They're gonna take him to Daphne and she's going to fix him up."
Harry finally started to breathe again but didn't tear his eyes away from the screen. Hermione began to run her hand down his back to soothe him.
"That's it, Harry," she comforted. "Breathe."
Tears began to run down Harry's face as he saw Draco's chest stop moving up and down, which meant his boyfriend stopped breathing. Which meant he was going to be alone.
"H-Hermione," he whispered shakingly. "He isn't breathing."
Hermione looked back at the screen with wide eyes. "Hurry up," she ordered through her earpiece. "He's not breathing."
After a few more seconds, Theo and Dean walked in carefully carried Draco's body to the others. Hermione sighed in relief. Harry however was still staring at the screen with tear stains on his cheeks.
"He's going to be okay now," Hermione reassured. "They got him to the car. Now they're going to take him to Daphne."
"Who's Daphne?" Harry asked with no emotion. Hermione had never seen this side of Harry and she definitely didn't like it.
"Astoria's sister, she's a doctor. They always go to her and not the hospital so they don't raise suspicion," Hermione informed. "Didn't Draco tell you this?"
"No."
☁︎☁︎☁︎
Harry rushed into Daphne's basement. Which was where she did all her surgeries. Sure it was illegal but they were criminals so it really didn't matter. Daphne always made sure she had all the required equipment, and that she was in a sterile environment. So everything was safe.
When he walked in he saw everyone standing outside of a room pacing back and forth worriedly. They all turned their heads when Harry barged into the basement with Hermione.
"Where is he? Is he okay?" The raven asked frantically.
Astoria sighed, walked over to him, and said,
"He's going to live, but he's in a coma due to the blood that he lost. It's on him to wake up now."
"Great," Harry muttered sarcastically as he tried to stop the tears that were about to fall from his emerald eyes. "I'm gonna kill him."
"Can we get him back before you do that?" Blaise asked trying to lighten the mood, but it didn't work if anything it only made Harry want to break down and cry even more.
"We probably won't even get him back," he said sadly. Blaise frowned and so did everyone else.
"Come on Harry, let's go get you something to eat," Hermione said trying to pull Harry upstairs.
Harry didn't follow. "C-Can I see him?" He asked hesitantly. Pansy nodded and said,
"Yes. Daphne is still in there to watch over him and make sure he's okay, but I'm sure she'll give you some privacy."
Harry walked into Draco's room and his breath hitched. Draco was lying in a hospital bed looking broken. His skin was paler than usual almost no color. His chest was barely rising which showed he was still having trouble breathing. The floor was stained in blood.
The sight almost made Harry sick to his stomach. He looked over at Daphne who was looking at a chart. She looked up and smiled at Harry.
"Hi, you must be Harry," The tall fit woman greeted. Harry furrowed his eyebrows.
"How'd you know I was Harry?" He asked.
"Draco had to be awake during surgery because the bullet was close to a nerve in his shoulder. So I had to make sure he could still feel and use his arm. All he did was talk about you. I'm pretty sure it's because he was high on anesthesia."
Harry blushed sheepishly and looked over at his barely alive boyfriend. "Thank you for taking care of him," he said running his hand through the messy blond locks.
"Of course," Daphne said looking at him with pity. "I'll give you some privacy." Harry nodded and smiled at her.
When Daphne left the room, Harry pulled up a chair and began to talk to Draco. "You probably can't hear me right now. So I'm probably talking to myself but if you're listening... WAKE THE FUCK UP!" He yelled furiously.
"You have the audacity to go off and shot! You just left me here to worry about your stupid ass! I swear to god Draco Malfoy if you don't wake the fuck up-" Harry cut himself off with a sob.
He looked at Draco's broken face and broke down. He tried to stop crying. He tried to get his breathing under control. He tried to finish yelling at the blond prat in front of him. But he couldn't.
"P-Please don't die," he sobbed. "I would miss you so fucking much. I can barely breathe. Please Draco, please. Wake up." Harry continued to sob on Draco's chest until he fell asleep.
-End of Chapter-
I don't think I'm writing angst correctly because I was laughing my entire ass off writing this-
Maybe that's because I'm a heartless bitch... who knows.
Anygays have a wonderful day, bye friends!
