The plane ride lasted longer than I had expected but it was worth it to wake up and realize the plane had finally landed, wheels safely on the ground. The turbulence didn't wake me, instead, the flight attendant's high pitched voice squeaking on the speaker overhead.

We quickly got off the plane, eager to escape the seamlessly never-ending airport environment. The stagnant air had begun to get on my nerves, though I'd never show it.

Musutafu was a magnificent city. The windows on buildings glistened in the sun and I could see my reflection in the windows when the driver drove past. Tall buildings rested on the streets in neat rows, nearly compact but not messy. Comfortably together. Though, the city wasn't all a beautiful concrete jungle. Parks scattered around the large city joined by small elegant forests here and there. I made sure to take note of where Aloe Butter was supposed to be moving into soon. Then, how far it was to our new house. Thankfully, it was only a 10-minute walk or so.

The driver drove outside of what I think was the main part of the city. I watched as my surroundings turned from large buildings and apartments to neighborhoods and residential areas.

I spotted a woman with luxurious golden hair, entertaining a small group of little kids in the middle of a park surrounded by a simple wooden fence. She levitated in the air, and sat on a tree branch closest to the ground while her smile grew lightly, she looked at the children anticipating her next action. As soon as her body touched the branch, all the trees in the park sprouted beautiful pink flowers, resembling those of a magnolia tree but pink. Gawking at the blatant show of power, I take a mental note to visit the park.

'Hopefully, it'll look the same when I get there later. It's too stunning to just see once,' I thought to myself without noticing the car pulling up into an unfamiliar driveway.

My mother beckoned me out of the car, smiling sweetly as she always did. As soon as my worn-out sneakers touched the paved driveway, a new sense of enthusiasm finally hit me. 'This is happening. This is really happening,' A sincere smile painted itself on my face as I looked around at my new, permanent, surroundings. Big trees surrounded my house and the ones around ours. I'm guessing this was a more rural part of the city, though, there were still numerous houses around my own.

My eyes wandered around the community as I stood in the now empty driveway. Houses were colored beautiful nude shades of brown, tan, and beige, they brought a calm sense of tranquility to the woody area.

Deciding to inspect a bit more of the area, I threw my bag behind the shrubs that lined the sidewalk path from the porch to the driveway. Making sure the front door was locked, I mentally took another note to not come back home until I got the," Where are you?" text from mom. I wanted to fly around for a bit, assuming my mother went straight into the house to take a shower and sleep in her exhausted shape. I didn't feel like being around her at the time.

Spreading my wings far out behind me, they glowed in the afternoon sun. I snatched my phone and earbuds out of my back pocket as my legs swiftly carried me from the driveway to the sidewalk. Music filled my brain when I finally manage to get the stupid things in my ears. I shoved the device back into my sweatpants, zipping the pocket closed. I took a massive sigh of relief when I felt my feet leave the ground below me. My wings carried me through and around the nearby emerald green forest.

Closing my eyes completely, I let my wings and instincts take over. Putting my body on autopilot while my mind and soul sink into the music with the wind caressing in my face. After a while I found my fingers tugging out the ponytail holder, granting my curls freedom to fly every-which-way. I giggled as I threw the cheap band behind me without even opening my eyes, flying higher into the air. I liked my hair out like this anyway.
