"DAVID, DAVID, TIME TO WAKE UP... DAVID" the voice of my mother slowly but surely drags me from my deep slumber and into reality. My eyes slowly open realizing its Monday I groan with annoyance reason being is... its Monday.

"Alright... I'm up." I sit up from my bed before giving a massive yawn. My body begging to go back to sleep. Refusing my bodies wishes I get up and proceed to undress and redress. Since I'm in America I don't need to wear a school uniform. So my choice of clothing, is a black shirt with a green pentagram on the back side, followed by black pants and my blackish purple shoes.

"Ok, I'm coming down." I open my door before walking downstairs to eat my breakfast. My mom still getting dressed upstairs I walked to my fridge to pull out some leftover mac and cheese.

I put the mac and cheese in the microwave and started to wait 2 minutes. Bored waiting I pulled out my phone seeing a notification on google play.

"70% off for a new game. Aw hell yeah." I press download as my mac and cheese finish.

Time skip 5 minutes.

I just finished eating, and I started getting ready to leave.

I couldnt finish my thought as my back hits the ground, knocking the air out of my chest.

I heard multiple voices around me as I opened my eyes. I saw a black haired man with a green shirt. "H-hey. C-can you help me up?" The green shirt dude looked down and quickly offered a hand. I looked down to my hand to see a staff and a book

???: sure thing... do you know where we are?

I struggled to catch my breath and even find balance. But none the less I gave my honest answer. "I-i- I dont know... b-but hggnern.. the names David Fuqua 16 years old. W-whats your name." Even after that I felt exhuasted. But my attention was brought to the corner of my peripheral.. I saw.... a health bar?

Naofumi: the names iwatami naofumi. I'm gonna take a wild guess and your American right?

"Heh. What gave it away?"
I need to figure out what the hell is going on.

Nowfumi: your accent and your shirt that says USA on the back. Pretty obvious.

"I'm gonna take a guess that you are from Japan right?" He nodded confirming my answer.

I gave a sigh as I thought out loud. "If my nerdy self is correct then, we have most likely been isekai'd into a different world but who wouldve thought itd be us..." no one was paying attention as the man with a sword raised it and pointed it at the men in cloaks.

I would've paid attention to the dialogue but from reactions in Sao, konosuba, and other isekai's it's going to be between, where the hell are we or if I'm gonna he a hero then pay me as such...

To say that I was right was an understatement. This new world is like a rpgmmo or a normal mmo like the elder scrolls online or pokemon. We all have something that is required to level up. Skills, attacks, or abilities.

I was brought out of my thoughts as everyone started heading towards a throne room of sorts. I stayed in the back of the group thinking on my next plan of action.

*thinking* I wonder how I'll access my inventory or other tabs. In sao they swung their hand down. In ggo of the same anime they just....

I stopped my thought midway through when I spotted the i symbol on the bottom right of my perigerhals.
Focusing on it, it lit up and showed me many things

I took another look at the hero weapons I had with me. My staff being generic and my tome or Book of shadows looking cool as all hell.

"Ahh heroes welcome." A voice booms.

I look up to see a man in a throne. He had a purple and white robe with a crown that had a purple gemstone inbedded inside.

I narrowed my eyes as he explained the circumstances the country was in. The waves of calamity. The waves threatened not only the country but also the world. The exact same story that app I downloaded. From what I understand is like any other isekai anime. A great evil threatens all life in a world.

Ren: my name is ren amaki

Itsuki: my name is itsuki kawasumi

Naofumi wasnt able to introduce himself before he actually had to interrupt him.

Naofumi: thank you my name is iwatami naofumi.

I narrowed my eyes as I introduced myself. " my name is David Fuqua... if I understand this correctly we were summoned to protect the world from destruction?"

King: yes...

I closed my eyes as I sighed. "*inhale* then please excuse me I have to go."

King: wait. Before you leave-

I interrupted him. "I'm sorry... but... I have to get going." I then left the throne room with a shocked king. Everyone was shocked, even the other heroes.

My new life as a hero has begun.
