The sunlight shone through the blinds, letting a bit of light into the dark room. The room seemed to glow as the sun hid behind clouds before shining again. The figure on the bed,
snoring slightly, brought the blanket closer, shivering slightly. The room dulled once more as a light tapping noise hit the window. The sun shone once more before disappearing, leaving the only light source in the room a lamp on the night table. The chirping of birds made their way through the window, making the sleeping figure flinch awake.

You blinked as your eyes adjusted to the soft light in your room. You shifted a little, trying not to let the blanket move and lift the warmth from it. Looking at the clock on the wall, you saw that it was your usual time to wake and get ready for the day. Deciding to waste five more minutes of warmth, you laid awake in your bed.

Reluctantly, you got out of the warm blanket and walked to the bathroom to get ready for training. Not bothering to take a shower since you would after training, you got ready fairly quick.

You yawned before you opened the door to see Bucky with a mug of your favourite tea. He was grinning as he extended the mug towards you. Your face broke into a smile and you took the mug from him, sipping on it immediately.

As you sipped the tea, you missed the way his eyes gazed over your face and body, taking in every feature of you. His eyes held a strong amount of love and care towards you, letting anyone who looked know that he loved you with his whole heart. His heart fluttered as you looked into his eyes.

"Thank you, Buck." You smiled sweetly at him as he nodded, smiling back at you. Your eyes locked gaze with him and he quickly looked at Steve who had stepped out of his room. He looked between you two before you spoke.

"Morning, Steve." You tipped the mug as you finished the tea.

"Good morning, [Y/N], Buck." Steve came beside you and gave you a quick side hug. You returned the hug as Bucky looked down. You didn't notice the way it hurt him to see you hug Steve or any other man. The way someone touched you, made him jealous but made him question why he felt like that.

"I'm training with Group B, right?" You asked, holding the mug tightly. It was still warm and did well for your cold hand.

"You are training Group B, not with them," he said, wearing a small teasing smile. He shoved his hands into his pockets. You shook your head, giggling softly, as Bucky snorted.

"I have to show everything myself, Steve. It doesn't help that there are only two girls in the group. The men underestimated me and assume whatever." Steve gives a shake of his head.

"Then you teach 'em how wrong they assume." You smirked and looked at Bucky.

"Who made the tea? It was amazing."

"It was me, doll," Bucky answered with a teasing glint in his eyes. "Do you think I can't make tea?" You bit your lip. Butterflies erupted in his stomach as you bit your lip. It drove him crazy to not be able to touch you like that and not kiss those lips.

"I don't believe you," you teased back. You saw the effects of it immediately. His mouth curled to form a smirk as his eyes wandered around your face.

"Take it back or you'll be a disappointed doll." His eyes earned a glint to them as you shook your head and passed the mug to Steve before dashing off. Bucky crossed his arms and watched your retreating figure with adoration in his eyes.

"You know what, Buck? You should tell her about your feelings before someone else does," Steve said before following your steps into the kitchen. Bucky smiled softly at the mere thought of you. His smile quickly faded as he noticed the Steve had just threatened him. If he didn't say anything to you soon, Steve would play matchmaker.

He shook his head and made his way to the kitchen where you were getting pancake batter ready. Since you were facing away from him, he decided to sneak up from behind you. Wrapping his arms around your waist, he made you squeak in surprise before you turned around and placed batter on his nose. He scrunched his nose before rubbing it against your cheek.

You squealed in protest, ignoring the others at the table. Wanda was smirking as she covered her mouth with a mug of coffee. Vision sat with his head on his hand, watching in interest. Sam let out a low whistle, which was oblivious to you and Bucky, and Steve only watched the interaction with irritation. His best friends were hopelessly in love and they didn't even know it.

"Bucky!" He had gotten the batter on your cheek and it felt cold against your warm cheek. Bucky gave you a lopsided grin, making you notice that all the batter on his nose was gone before he walked to the island and took a seat beside Steve. You glared at him playfully and grabbed a towel paper to rub the batter off. He smiled back before he talked to Steve and Sam.

Wanda got up and started to help you make pancakes while taking the chance to talk to you.

"You know... he likes you a lot," Wanda said, smiling teasingly, eyes still on the pan. "And I know you like him too. Why don't you just ask? There isn't anything against asking." You only glance back to check if anyone was listening. Sam was talking to Vision while Steve and Bucky talked.

"I doubt he likes me that way, Wanda." The words felt like a stab to your heart. "He's a good friend and I rather not do anything to mess that friendship up." Wanda hummed sadly and placed a hand on yours, giving a reassuring smile and squeeze. You smiled and started to hand out the pancakes.
