A peaceful friday afternoon, when a young women stood behind the counter. Quietly humming as she observed a few last details about her work. Something she had been occupied with the past hours, to keep her distracted from thoughts she didn't need in her mind.

When she didn't feel any satisfaction with the first glance, she caught her eyes subconsciously peaking with another small glance over her work.

She let her hands slide over the counter that had only been just covered with papers. There were There was much she had to do right now, but it didn't influence this good mood she had still after hours.

A callback to her youngest days, where she'd be just as free spirited with a hint of optimistic behaviour.

There was also no sight for customers. That meant, she had more than enough time.

Her hair was, shimmering by the sunshine that came through the windows. While it distracted her from time to time she was putting all her effort in the different documents.

Time did pass and she kept silently focusing. The sound of a pen scribbling over the paper calmed her.

A young person about the same age as the woman came into the picture. They stood in front of the cafe, where they took a more detailed glance towards the building. The small shield that was hanging down in front of the building, was one very familiar. They knew that that must've been it.

They allowed themselves a short peek inside, forming small field glasses with their hands. When they ended up spotting a young woman towering over papers, a euphoric smile built on the inches of their lips.

The young womans ears went clairaudible by the sound. She rasied her head interested, taking her attention of the papers she had filled out seconds ago.

The room went quiet.

The person in front of her had silky long hair bound into a high pinned pony tail. A bit oily, but it could be in fact worst.

They were wearing something pretty usual. A t-shirt with a creme-colored coat over it. They had a pair of glasses on their nose. A bright expression went out from them.

For the moment it was silent. For a moment both of them stared each other in the eyes. Until a warm smile broke the happening.

"Hello, Dr.Zoë." the pretty young woman said.

Hanji walked towards the girl. Her expression inched in stone, questioning herself what was up with the doctor.

Only some footsteps were seperating both of you. Keeping you away like in that different life.

They smiled at you, holding your cheek. "Hello Y/n," the brunette smiled over both of their ears. Their tone grew softer at the call of her name and so did hers, "Hi Hanji.." you waved gently. You wanted to know what was going through their mind. As The sparkle in their eyes highlighted the happiness rushing through them.

"I promised that I would find you again." The sentence came out as a bare whisper, but they were smiling as their they embraced her

The hug was all the two needed.

Familiar warmth both of you didn't feel in literal decades.

"I missed you Hanji." she said.

They nodded, "I missed you too Y/n.." they muttered.

You were nervous, was it even possible? Was it possiblethey had a clue how to drive. Not to curse out loud but you were very nervous. The sweat almost dropping of your forehead. "Hanji-do you even know how to drive-?" You cut yourself off as you wanted to place a cuss word right in the sentence.
