I was taking a walk through the streets as I saw some children running past myself. I chuckled they looked so lovely while they were playing. That they could take the past happening in such a world that good in. They were strong mentally and physically. I saluted them deep inside of myself.

A small breeze of the wind flew through my hair. I put my pony back behind my hair as it fell between my eyes. I hold onto the reigns of my horse gentle with a calm expression painted over my face.

My horse had done enough today for me. We had been bringing around some cakes. I took a brief glance at my horse and back. I concentrated myself on the street while my feets were going around in a different way. I made a small game out of it. I was still my childish self that I knew from years before.

I smiled and patted the main of my horse. In the next moment I startled as I felt someone behind me. The someone tapped on my shoulder and I stopped. My heart beat went high, my blood freezes for a moment. The most random scenarios flashed through my head.

I thought I was crazy, a mad woman full of paranoid thoughts. Who were about people kidnapping me which was out of further perspective questionable.

A figure appeared beside me. Only the look of their eyes calmed me in that very moment. The brown slight oily hair with the deep chocolate eyes were underlined with glasses.

Their head peeked into my sight. They were no one else than Hanji Zoë, scientist, Titan loving and in addition a Section Commander with a own squad of the Survey Corps.

"Hiya! Y/n great to meet you!" They smiled. I put a smile on my face too, it was a genuine one. They decided to keep walking beside me, which I didn't mind. They managed let a smile appear on my face. Even in those situations where I wasn't in the mood to smile.

"Hey dr. Zoë!" I greeted them. They smiled, staying afterwards quiet. Their face was empty for some minutes. As they suddenly did something totally unexpected. Their face brightened and they started talking about Titans. I chuckled quiet as they did so. My eyes and ears didn't heard out left of them. They had a intense sense in them.

The small glassy look in my eyes that reflected in theirs. But the quiet howls of the wind hit against the building causing to echo in my ears. Still the minutes of silent were awful. Filled with all the noises of shoes rubbing into the dirt and the joyful screams of children.

"Aww.. that's so cute of you!" They commented while I flashed a smile. They expressed so much brightness in the eyes. In the fraction of a second their face changed. Something cold, something very bitter. "But I don't like that." I startled at the change of mood. Out of that sudden it managed to surprise me that much. I couldn't let a word leave my mouth. The silence that inched into my mouth was awful.

I managed by myself to crock flap words out of my mouth. "..Why's that?" I turned away with my pair of eyes. While that got me into a high embaressing situation, I heard a small soft chuckle. I turned around to see their face brighten up. "Such a.. silly.." I heard out from the whispers that came out of their mouth. Their quiet voice in the moment had let me feel nervous.

Their gaze departed gently from mine —their chocolate eyes were directed on the sky. While clouds slowly changed place they smiled, "for you, it's just Hanji."

I smiled not knowing how to react. What was this relationship, no this bond between us? It messed up my mind. A wall that kept me from finding a clear object about this situation. The barrier that was holding my confused feelings
inside of it. My chest was
squeezing my heart together.

With all of my power, I tried to sort in something, anything. Just something that would have made sense to me.

I kept my eyes forward on the street while I still hold on to the reigns of my horse. "For.. me?" I repeated after a while of a thoughtful silence. They nodded before letting their gaze take attention of something else. I snapped out of my thoughts as I noticed that I had reached together with them the cafe.

I gestured Hanji a hand that they were free to wait in front of the cafe. If they wouldn't I wouldn't be upset either with that. Neither would I feel happy about it. I went with my horse in the back were the stable was. I excorted it right back where it could take a rest. I went to get one of the buckets which I had. They were stacked up in the storeroom. I gave them a small glance, I choosed one and went back.

I filled the bucket up with food and gave my horse a red juicy apple. It ate the apple with pleasure of my hand. I smiled and pat the the main of my horse. After a while I turned to get back. At that point my eyes were focussed near the ground. "Your pretty good with animals, huh?" as I heard that my head shot up. I saw the cherry brunette standing there leaned against the wall. With a cheeky smile all over their face they smiled genuine at me. "I guess.. maybe," I admitted not knowing how to feel about it. "But.. why did you wait for me?" I asked them then. They broke away from the wall and pursed their lips. Hanji's index finger shot up followed with a thoughtful face. "I was curious.. actually made me curios about you."

I didn't knew what to actually say or anwser in that moment. I kept my eyes on them, "how about a piece of raspberry cake?" I asked to let the unfortable feeling fade from my chest. They nodded in reply at the suggestion. We went together into the cafe as I opened the door. I went over to get a tea done. While the tea was boiling my hands went over to the counter. They instinctly were on the search of something.

They grabbed two peices of a raspberry cake and put it on a small tablet. I went over to them putting the tablet down.

They thanked me and we talked for a while. Over and over again was the room filled up with laughter bright smiles or even stupid jokes from both of us. After a while we ate the pieces of the cake. They took a sip of their tea, "there's something.. I wanna talk about with you."
