Hanji and I went on the day after into the facility. In our bags were tones of bread. They were hanging down on our shoulders. Looking like some type of post man. It wasn't that big, everything what felt like a inch was filled with different persons. Both of us saw many people who were looking bad.

Elders and young childs were still wounded. Some were having big deep and dark bangs under they're eyes. Other seeming way to skinny as if they were starving.

The worst thing was from when my eyes had fallen on people who were looking dead. There were only a small amount of time holding them back of dying completely. Only the pushing of the edge was departing them from being separated from living in the nightmare.

I turned myself around, closing my eyes inhaling deep and exhaling slowly. As Hanji put a hand on my shoulder I finally found the will to calm myself in the end. I took a few long glances in the room.

I noticed some kids sitting around on dusty sheets. I pursed my lips before I even in the slightest got the confidence together to speak up.

"Hey kids!" I called out.

I waved my hand, trying to make them notice me. Some raised their heads. With big eyes they looked at us. "Come over here!" Hanji said taking me the words out of my mouth. I was feeling better now where they said that.

My emotions that were driven by in sureness were slowly falling down. My increased heartbeat stopped, got slower and calmed down.

As the kids reached us with their small footsteps I kneeled down to them. My eyes fell on them as I looked at them nearly.

A young boy, a brunette with emerald eyes, a beautiful raven haired girl with metallic grey eyes and a blonde
with the form of the haircut that resembled a bowl with his ocean blue eyes. They all seemed as if they went through more than much.

"Were here to give some extra bread out, would you like to have some?" I asked them. I saw the hesistation in their eyes, the pain. They kept their hands back, but then they took it. I kneeled down as I ruffled the ravens and the brunettes head. I searched for a third big one and passed it to the blonde boy. I smiled at him and ruffled his hair too.

The brunette with the emerald eyes asked me then, "isn't one of you over there from the Survey Corps?" His eyes brightened at the mention of the name from the branch. I nodded not ignoring the excitement over them.

I explained to him exactly who it was and what they were doing. Afterwards his eyes were glancing just with sparkles. I listened to him of how he and his friends wanted to join the Survey Corps.

'Oh boy..' I thought, 'if he's gonna stick up with that.. I'm gonna throw a pie in that short tempered mans face.'

Though there was such a feeling of his determination in his eyes that was going into my stomach. They were surely determined with all senses. He was one of the persons that my gut knew; they wouldn't give that easily up.

I kneeled down to his height. My eyes met directly his. "I think I knew your parents.. when you were just little." I chuckled. My mind went back to the peaceful days. I focused back on the boy.

"Maybe one day you can come to me if you'd like just to talk. I'm having a cafe in wall Rose and always a ear open for small to big problems or just a hungry stomach that gets some free food." I explained to them. The response I got from the ravenette was satisfying me.

She just gave a quick nod, but I saw out of the corner of my eye how the brunette phouted over something while the blonde tried calming him and the girl.

They smiled bright at me, but a slight sadness had spread out in their eyes. I signed, setting myself up. I turned around to Hanji who gave me a beautiful smile in suddenly. Followed by the sight of their eyes that had followed me.

I turned around to them with a mischievous smirk on my face. Shrugging my shoulder they looked at me. "You really can take good care of children." they let out a small smile. A moment of awkwardness were they kept staring at me. I felt embarrassed as for a reaction my cheeks were filled with blood. The blushing face deepening every second.

As they shot out of what the were doing by realizing all of it gave them crimson cheeks. I chuckled, going of to the next kids. I saw a blonde girl with a rather low pinned bun. Blue eyes that seemed cold as ice inky by seeing into them.

A uncomfortable feeling if goosebumps ran over my skin. The small hairs over my arms were straightening up. There was the other young boy about the same age as the two blondes. He had black short hair a thin but healthy build. His dark eyes were representing his soul in a instant. Giving of a calm look just by glancing at him.

The blonde male was standing with back to me. He had short hair and a healthy stature he was shorter than the other boy.

I tapped the tallest one on the shoulder. He shrieked together, I raised immadient a eyebrow. "Hey are you alright?" I questioned. He turned around clearly still recovering from the unexpected happening. His friend assured it me with some words.

He was clearly somewhat somewhere else, but not here.

"Well I know what you were doing~" I chirped laughing. As I looked into their faces, the female blondes fists clenched. The male dark haired standing straight out of position. While the other one was not moving an inch. They all looked at me with a slight anxious nightmare in their faces.

I frowned, raising a eyebrow.
"Oh my shit—don't take everything so serious what people like I say—!" I exclaimed laughing. Their faces stopped looking that stoic at me. I still innerly grumbled to myself why they had acted so weird. But soon I shrugged it off and moved forward. Just another kids thing.

I turned my head directly over to the bag. I opened it to searched with my hand after some bread. "So you see I'm having some free bread here.." I mumbled. My voice muffled down.  I smiled, "would you like to have some extra besides the one ration you get once in a while?" They didn't hesitated and took it grateful.

A big smile overwhelmed me. I was happy, I turned myself around as soon as I stood up. I went over to Hanji who was sorting some items they had with them. I embraced them out of blue into a hug. I knew they were irritated by this out of sudden.

I felt how they first were unsure what to do, but then they awkwardly put their arms around me. Responding to the hug with taking it.

With the time being grateful we worked ourselves through the people and had enough to gave it to over people who were needing it.
