Precious had barely finished up with her make-up when Bruno called to tell her that he was outside the guest house waiting for her, precious checked herself one last time in the standing mirror to be sure she was satisfied with what she was putting on. She had carefully chosen a flowing gown that looked so elegant on her reveling her shapes in every curvy corner, With a satisfied grin she let herself out of the door in search of Bruno who was waiting for her outside the guest house. It took no time to see Bruno who looked absolutely charming in his designer wear.
“hey beautiful you look gorgeous.” Bruno commended giving Precious a bear size hug. The latter who was so uncomfortable with the hug quietly squeezed herself out of the embrace.
“Thanks Bruno, can we be on our way now so we don’t get there late.”  Precious said leading the way. “Sure!” Bruno answered Walking hand in hand with Precious.
They did not say another word to each other until they got to the place where the live concert was holding, entering into the large hall that happened to be filled up with ladies and guys from different places that had come to witness the live show.
They sighted the others seated on a round table and precious scanned for Stephen, but he was not to be found anywhere around. “Let’s go sit with the others.” Precious suggested dragging Bruno along still searching for Stephen in the process.
They went to the table and got seated, Bruno had the time to exchange greetings with his friends and the girls seated and one could notice that Bruno was openly flirting with some of the girls seated and Precious didn’t mind rather she made use of the opportunity to escape the table without Bruno notice.
  She had Mixed with the crowd when she stumbled upon Bryan her elder brother who is a final year engineering student at the University of Lagos  “What are you doing here little sis?” Bryan had asked pulling her into a tight embrace.
“I thought you told me you were too occupied writing your final project that you couldn’t make it up to visit me at ibadan?” Precious attacked.
“Yeah, but I got invited to do a stage dance here at the concert.” Bryan explained still holding her in a lover like position, it was that moment that Stephen who had just entered the hall sighted precious with Bryan and had a misconception about the whole thing.
“I have totally forgotten that you still take your dance classes, I am kinda rusty with my steps……been a while I practiced.” Precious replied holding hands with Bryan
“So little sis, what are you doing here?” Bryce asked playfully tugging at her hair. “You haven’t stopped with playing with my hair, well I came with silver who happens to be celebrating her engagement party today….coupled with the fact that there will be a live concert today.” Precious explained.
“mom will hear about it.” Bryan playfully joked, it was always like this with the siblings they were more like best friends and knows the other secrets.
“I think you should tell Mom that we were in this together.” Precious attacked lightly giving him a punch. They were still playing when the lights turned on to the dance floor and everyone moved to the dance floor taking their partners along.
“How about a dance or two?” Bryan asked with smiles that reveled his dimples, it was a fact that Bryan was indeed good looking just like his sis and had a lot of admirers.
“Are you here with Mimi?” precious asked referring to her brother’s girlfriend.
“Yeah, but she went to the buffet to get food for the both of us, I’m hoping to ask her to marry me.” Bryan said shyly.
“Awwn, I am happy for you big brother!” Precious said embracing Bryan.
“I just hope she will agree.” Bryan said playing with his beards.
“Mimi is a nice girl, we all love her and I’m sure she is going to say yes….. who would say No to a nice soul like you?” precious encouraged.
The dance was already coming to an end when Bryan dragged Precious to the dance floor, they soon got dancing moving in rhythm with the music been played, it didn’t take long before the others who were dancing at the dance floor stopped to watch Bryan and Precious dance, it was an amazing sight because they both understood each other moves and danced in accordance. By the time they were done dancing there was an outstanding ovation. Precious was unaware of the crowd they had drawn to themselves until the clap “Bryan you see what you caused, it was your idea……see the too much attention you have drawn to ourselves.” Precious whispered to Bryan while trying to escape the dance floor from guys that were already over her asking her to dance with them. “I might probably not see you after the concert, but do well to be safe ok, I love you!” Bryan said kissing his sister one last time amidst the crowds of girls and guys that were all over them for a dance. “I love you more big bro, success in your proposal.”  Precious replied giving him a peck of her own before disappearing into the crowd avoiding the guys who were already begging her for a dance.
     Stephen who had watched precious dance with the stranger couldn’t help his jealousy, he had walked outside to cool off his anger when Precious who had escaped the crowd had sighted him and walk up to him. She had barely started a conversation with him when Bruno appeared from a corner with two girls by his side.
  “Hey presh, where have you been? Like I have been looking for you in the crowd.” Bruno said putting his hands over her shoulder and the sight further infuriated Stephen.
“Did you come with Bruno?” Stephen asked full of surprises.
“Emm… actually….” Precious tried to reply when Bruno replied instead
“yes, we are together. Any problem?” Bruno asked spitefully.
“good luck to you two, you are not even who I think you are….” Stephen said walking out with anger after throwing the now speechless precious one last look.
The girls that came earlier with Bruno had suddenly left leaving Precious to stare angrily at Bruno
“And what was that?” precious asked angrily
“Hey stop being defensive, I’m just protecting my date.” Bruno said trying to sound innocent.
“I’m not your date, we came together!” Precious corrected.
“Okay I’m sorry, can we go get something to eat……I am famished.” Bruno said pulling precious along to the buffet to dish out food for the both of them.
“what do you want?” Bruno asked Precious while dishing out fried rice, chicken, salad, bean cake with lobsters on a plate.
“Don’t tell me you are going to eat all of that?” precious asked alarmed
“why not, I’m so famished.” Bruno replied with a grin
“I think Chicken and Cheese salad will do.” Precious replied as Bruno got her plate filled with enough chicken and Cheese salad.
They found an empty table and got seated while Bruno went back to get them some glasses of wine, precious scanned around for Nuel and silver but couldn’t find any one of them due to the crowd.
  Bruno returned to see precious almost done with her meal. By the time Bruno was done eating his meal, the whole place was so crowded with people that Bruno suggested they take a walk to the shore so he could exercise off the excess food he had consumed.
“common babe, the show just started and we should be back from our walk before the show gets serious, I’m over fed and I need to walk it out.” Bruno convinced precious who was rather too reluctant to stand up.
By the time they were out of the crowded hall, Bruno lead Precious to the shore unaware that Stephen who was outside since the exchange he had with them  saw them leave for the shore.
By the time they got to the extreme part of the shore, it was rather far away from where the concert was holding and it was deserted as well with the cool sea and the new moon which seem to shine brighter than every other day as their only companion.
Bruno fell to the ground with an exaggerated tiredness “Come on Bruno, you shouldn’t be tired merely for walking to this place, you haven’t even walked out a grain of rice yet.”  Precious urged Bruno who was rather reluctant to stand up.
