The sound of the heart monitor filled the background as people gathered outside the door. Everyone was there. Some out of pity. Some out of Friendship. A few out of shame. Stress on the inside with Xisuma - both have a medical degree but only stress is classified as a doctor - have been monitoring Doc's status very intently for the past hour or so. They agreed if he didn't wake up before the end of the year they'd either have to medically remove the spores or they'd let him die without pain.
After the first few hours many left. Then by the end of the day only Ren, Grian, Stress, X and a couple more remained.
