Carson Conway was fiercely loyal, loved her brother and friends, and played hockey every chance she got. Her and her team, District Five, had never been anything close to good but there was no one else she'd rather play with. The string of bad coaches she and her team had gotten had caused her love for hockey to slowly fade, though. When Gordon Bombay is entrusted with coaching the young team, finally starts caring, recruits new players and manages to get the team on a winning streak, Carson's love for hockey slowly starts to come back.
