The Aftermath

Many times I gave a thought,
Does humanity exist or did it completely rot,
Coz the way games are played,
Makes me wonder at times,
Are women even safe,
Or just victim of crimes,
And even if they do survive
The claws of a rape,
The society is still there,
To remind her and scrape,
Till the girl kills herself,
Or dies before justice served,
But it's not the fault of a girl,
This is not what she deserved,
Respect doesn't lie in virginity,
Or rape doesn't take her pride,
There is no shame in sharing,
There is no reason to hide,
The society needs to grow up,
Stand with them all along,
And it needs to start with the family,
This will make her really strong,
Be there and trust her always,
Give her comfort and time to heal,
Don't remind her what she went through,
Let her live with zeal,
Coz that did leave a scar,
And now she needs a hand,
Coz waves will be tougher,
And she is making castles of sand,
So stand before the waves,
Or help her build it tough,
Coz it's you who will give her strength,
When situations get a little rough,
So stand till she learns,
And becomes bold each day,
Coz life did not stop,
She must find her own way,
A way that gives her happiness,
And gathers piece by piece,
So if she survives the trauma,
Let her live in peace,
And live with all her pride,
Coz she wasn't at fault,
And no one can take her pride,
And it can't be locked in a vault,
It's not locked in a vault.!!
