"Sorry, it slipped."

Chaewon was making a completely opposite face of when you should be making an apology. Her fists were clenched tight and was turning colorless, her eyes were filled with fury, as she marched along a path that looked like when Moses parted the sea, only this time it was a sea of students instead of water.

"Get up. Or I've beaten you already."

Chaewon crouched down towards the unconscious person, hitting their face with moderate level. She finally got an answer back.

"Didn't know you have two guardian angels now huh. They serving you well?"

Of course the bully didn't give up, and neither was Chaewon going too. Before they could struggle up to their feet, Chaewon just gave the weakened leg a bit of a sweep, making them fall back down again.

"No, no you look better being fucking pathetic on the ground like before. I'll take this as a I've beaten you already. So stop talking shit especially around my locker next time. Now fuck off before I make you my backstop without a helmet."

Chaewon was spitting words out like wildfire. She didn't even realize what she had said, the anger that she had for the person was so close to exploding. If everyone else wasn't around, this person here might not even make it out of here being able to move a muscle.

"Fine.. I'll find someone else then.."

After a small scuffle, the person just walked as fast as they could out from that corridor looking pissed off. Sounds of conversations buzzes up again, as people around are talking about what had just happened.

"You okay? Did they hurt you?"

Chaewon looked back to Minju that she was keeping safe behind, her eyes calmed down like the midnight moon, and a soft comforting smile was shone instead.

"Yes, I'm okay. They haven't done anything yet."

"That's good that's good. Here's your interesting looking pen back.."

Chaewon said as she observed Minju's pen. The diameter was twice the size of a normal pen, it was coated with a snow white color and there's a small transparent window for Chaewon to tip the pen from side to side to see the midnight ink flowing around.

"You seem to be having fun."

Minju said as she waited patiently for her last pen to fall back into her pencil case. She didn't mind though, she wanted Chaewon to stare at her pen for as long as she wanted. Her sparkling eyes being fascinated over such simple things, her slightly pouting lips too, what a dream Minju was in right now.

"Sorry..."

Chaewon realizes and slowly drops the pen into Minju's open palm. The pen was snuck neatly inside the pencil case before the zipper was secured back on again, she even made sure this time that it was extra secure.

"Attention, Kim Chaewon, to the office, right now."

Chaewon heard the announcement over the audio system and completely froze for a second. She forgot that there's snitches around the school that could report actions to the council. She swears that if she finds them that person will not make it to report anything else ever again.

"Fuck. Sorry I can't hang longer, catch you tomorrow alright?"

Chaewon smiled the brightest she had done in a while, she waved one last time before running the completely opposite way of the council office.

"Oh isn't her smile so cute?"

Hitomi leaned in closer to Minju's ear and whispered in a teasing manner. She even chuckled slightly towards her friend who just stood there starring hopelessly into the direction that Chaewon ran off.

"You're still here? Oh sorry, I didn't even see you! Chaewon's smile was just too bright."

Minju pretended to be shocked towards an obvious question, she made a smug face while shrugging her shoulders and walked off just like that. Leaving Hitomi behind overwhelmed to the situation.

The door the the library was open carefully, as Chaewon slides herself through. She looked around to see anyone who could potentially report her or not, seems like there's commonly a few types of people here. The people who actually came to study, and the people who comes here to sleep.

She looked through the gaps of the book once again towards the far corner of the library. Seeing no one there, she quickly pulls out the diary. The post it was stuck up neatly at the top of the page, Chaewon pulled it out and starts to read the tidy scribbles on the paper.

//

Maybe I won't talk to a stranger that keeps reading my secret diary.. but thank you for the words of encouragement, I'll do something about it of course.

//

Chaewon was glad that at least she took her words of encouragement for granted. She kind of like to do this now, it wasn't a prank anymore to be honest, Chaewon really wants this story to end well. She then desperately flipped to the latest page of the notebook, but nothing was written in new. The owner hasn't written anything in since Yesterday.

"And what did I skip class for?!"

Chaewon whispered in the air while waving her hands around in disappointment. She skipped class to avoid the danger of the office of course. It wasn't just a big excuse to come here or anything like that.

"Kim Chaewon! I've found you."

"Fuck."

Chaewon flinched to one of the voices she hates the most. Especially for this moment right now that she shouldn't be here. Slowly, she slides the book down her arms and using her knee to break a gap underneath the cushion, the notebook was slid in without suspicion. Before she turned back and face her consequences.
