"The sun seems to be tired.."
Chaewon gazed up to the end of the road which was fading into the dark quicker than she thought, the city was quiet, with only some rows ringing far away. She looked back down, worried. Trying her best to keep herself calm, just like the person next to her here has said.
"It's getting to Summer soon, I thought it would be up for more hours today but,, guess it couldn't be helped."
The owner of this beautiful mid-low tone of voice spoke, with her brunette hair lacing down the pearl cream knapsack on her back. It was perfect to hide her slightly disappointing expression, she wanted to stay for longer, as long as this moment could be.
"That's fine with me? Does it with you too? Staying outside a bit later than normal.."
Hearing that Minju was relieved, she too wanted to stay out for longer, she wasn't afraid of the consequences, everything up until now was worth it. It was time for her to reward herself for holding onto this for too long.
"Fine with me too."
Chaewon's smile shone against the headlights of a car that passes by, and with this kept inside her mind, she suddenly remembered something Yena said earlier this week.
"Right.. So.. will you follow me? It's a bit far from here but I'm sure It'll be worth the walk."
"Anywhere is good since we're spending it together right?"
Hearing that sentence whisper from a soft voice threw Chaewon's heart straight to the Earth's core. She wasn't prepared for the sudden sweet talk, but since she was the one who asked Minju out, she shouldn't back down on this subject either.
"Really?" She stared at Minju, eyes fixing on the other's.
She saw Minju's fine smooth skin perfectly like ceramic, her sharpened eyes and a perfectly shaped nose while the mild pink blush decorated her cheeks.
Chaewon thinks that the other has absolutely no idea, how her presence lifts up every drop of nature around her, like a Princess from a fairytale Chaewon used to hear before going to bed, like the relaxing feeling making everything calm after the storm.
"Me too then.."
If it wasn't for Chaewon needing to see which directions they were walking towards, she would like to just constantly look to Minju, what a crazy thought she had in her mind.
Chaewon took a turn at the corner of the road first, as the bright colors reflect against her glass-like lens, she smiled and looked back to the one she brought here with her tonight.
"So.. do you like it?"
"Very."
In the middle of a fairly populated part of town, the empty public square was filled in with lights and various tents. From afar you could already hear people's laughter and the scent of buttery popcorn filling the air. The merry-go-round carries every small child and some grown ups accompanying. And what would catch anyone's eyes first was at the very back lies a ferris wheel spinning infinitely as it gazes out on the view of the old city.
It was a moderate fairground, but that wasn't a problem, there is a few activities here to do. Chaewon reached into her crossbody bag, pulling out 2 crumbled up tickets that Yena shoved into her bag without her noticing. It was probably planned since the day Yena knew something was up with these two, Chaewon didn't want to admit that she was saved by this stupid idiot, but she was grateful at least.
Passing the front gates, Chaewon stared at the various coupons she got given. She decided in her mind already of what booth she is going to, suddenly remembering she bought someone else with her today, those thoughts wiped away with the moment she turned to see Minju's smile.
