"Hitomi?"

"Yes?"

Hitomi turned around to see Minju carrying some files related to Biology, it seemed like she was going to study for the expected pop quiz tomorrow.

"Wanna go over Biology again with me?"

"Sorry, I have some things to do."

Hitomi was concerned more about missing the Biology revision session with an incarnation of Charles Darwin himself more than what she had planned. But priorities, Hitomi chooses what's right.

"Oh right. You're applying for the student council. Well good luck. Maybe I'll get to see president Hitomi soon?"

"I wish.."

The conversation was short like always, in order to make it sound smooth Hitomi just decided to turn back around and walk towards the direction of the auditorium instead. She knew that if she had continued the situation would become more awkward, and Minju will thank her for that too.

Normally, no matter how busy Hitomi is, she wouldn't make her timetables clash with each other. But this is an exception Minju might guess, the student council battle is heated. Knowing who is the candidate for the positions makes it even harder.

She was gravely wrong. What kind of goal that Hitomi wants to achive today was beyond what she could have imagined. It was a special operation that she had thought of for some time now, and only to do it when proper.

Minju had mentioned to her a few times of how to finally for the sake of her sanity confess to Chaewon. It was as weird as she thought it would be, all of them did not including speaking at all. As expected of the silent angel I guess.. One of them was achivable for Hitomi, and it was one that she recommended her to do even. Not that she actually did it, but Hitomi knew exactly what to do to make this come true. Her literacy skills couldn't possibly match that of Minju's, but it wasn't too hard to copy either. It wasn't too hard to forge up a message and just slide them into Chaewon's locker just like that—

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing?!"

A voice startled Hitomi from behind, it was in a tone she hasn't heard this person in for a long time. It was Minju's angry tone mixed in with a pinch of diappointment.

"You know you can't trick me right? And I know how sneaky you are.."

"Oh, really? You think you can stop me?"

Hitomi had already inserted the envolope about a quater way in through the bottom gap of Chaewon's locker. She made this you can't stop me can't you? face towards Minju. Until she pulled out something completely unsuspected from her own bag. It left Hitomi speechless. She froze to stare at what Minju held up, and it was that same moment that Minju pulled th envolop from Hitomi's hand.

"You wrote a real one?"

"You really think I have the courage to write one huh. This is a university offer you idiot. Can't you see the logo?"

And that was the moment that Hitomi knew her plan was stupid all along. How could she have fallen for such an old trick that Minju came up with in a glimpse of time. She knew that this could not have possbly end well in any way, but the thought of that Minju knew what the letter may contain is the only hope for this oparation that failed succesfully.

"So.. you were thinking of writing a real one?"

"No! Of course not. Why would I write one?"

Minju was always unsure of her actions. She isn't someone who expresses well to begin with. Not with those people that she had no interest to begin with especially.

"To confess?! Minju you need to realise that nobody in this world would be crazy enough to reject someone as pretty you alright?"

"You do have a point.."

"So go actually write one will you? Like.. just do it already, I am tired of watching my best friend being like this to someone that she could definetly be closer to with. Trust me, will you."

"After this incident I don't think I do.. you know what, just to prevent the same mistake."

Minju had a sarcastic smile on her face, as she reached her hands into Hitomi's open bag and took out her entire pencil case. She wasn't mad, she deserved it for what she had done. But she hasn't ran out of options too either.

"Give it back.. or I'll do this!"

Minju wasn't someone with a fast reflect, and Hitomi had longer limbs that her do. So of couse this match went to the sneakiest one of all. Hitomi now had the option of holding the other's pencil case hostage too.

"Write one. And I'll give it back."

"No, no not today. I don't have timeeee"

Minju said as she tries to pull her pencil case back. Inside there literally holds all of her life contents. Especially for her fountain pen that she likes so much. But today luck wasn't on her side, the zipper had already been parted slightly and the packed tight pencil case that had been brutally pulled like a tug of war poured out its contents strewn all over the floor.

"Now look what you've done!"

"Sorry.. I'll help you pick them all up in exchange of my pencil case?"

This never ending bargain finally took the final turn and ended up with a small punishment for the both of them.

Not until someone else around there decided to help them pick the pens up. They held some pens in front of Minju, but when she noticed and tries to grab it, it got tugged away.

"Thank y-"

"Hey, how long has it been? 3 weeks maybe?"

When Minju heard that voice, it alerted her so much that her voice has become inaudible again. Someone who she hated the most had arrived back from suspension and is back to messing with her again.

"Please give me my pen back."

"What? Say that again will ya? Louder!"

"Did you not hear? I said, say it loude-"

Before the whole corridor's attention could be stuck onto this terrible event, something so fast came flying towards the bully's head. It knocked them out clear to the point that they collapsed to the floor and not moving anymore.

"Oops, sorry. It slipped.."

Without a doubt, when that baseball came flying at intense speed, it indicates almost immediately of who that maybe. The only person who could do that kind of pitching.

Minju wanted to just dig a hole and go live in a mountain at that point. This is the worst possible combination of events that could possibly happen today.

I promise it will make sense later on alright..
This is too long I know I should have cut some parts but (_ _).。o○
(Chaewon's hiring fees are very high lately so that's why she didn't appear much this chapter)
