"Have you chosen?"

"I might need some suggestions.. I want to say sorry to someone."

It was early morning, the sun is slowly taking over peaking its top to greet the early birds.
In this case, it was the hard working Chaewon who went for her daily morning run but instead took a wrong turn and stumbled upon an interesting shop instead. It was too colourful not to look at, and then it dawned on her, this is the perfect opportunity to apologize for the mistake yesterday.

"Orchids, lilies, hyacinths. You name them."

"I'll think about it."

Chaewon didn't bring much out with her, to be honest it was just some change that she had left in her pockets from days before. Reading the price tags over and over again, she wasn't sure if this was a good idea. Until she looked a little closer towards the back, and her eyes sparkled to this particular flower.

"Excuse me, what is this?"

"That's a snapdragon. It works too, a secret apology that you didn't meant to cause and some other things too."

It was the perfect flower to Chaewon, it was fading pink with its tip narrowing like a brush, dipped into some mascarpone cream. The meaning too wasn't too bad, she did felt completely wrong about what she had done and didn't meant a single bit of it.

"I.. only have a few coins.."

"Just give me what you have. At least you came before I wrapped the bouquets. Just one flower isn't really sold but I'll give it to you.

The lady was busy getting ready for her open, she wasn't slightly bothered by this struggling broke customer in front of her so much, she even said everything in a welcoming tone and a bright smile on her face.

Chaewon reached into every corner of every pockets she had, and some quarters and a few halves fell out. She quickly handed them all to the lady that owned the shop.

"Thank you, sorry to bother you."

"That's fine. It's been a long time that someone this young is buying flowers anyways."

Chaewon gave the lady one last smile before she headed for the streets again. This time she had to be careful of the fragile flower in her hand, it was wrapped inside wax paper, with a pastel peach ribbon holding everything together.

-

"Am I seeing things? Or is that a snapdragon.."

With her eyes fixed to the flower, she placed her bag on the cushion next to her and picked up the blooming blush weighing down a piece of paper.

//

I'm sorry for misplacing the notebook, I'll be more careful next time. Also I haven't told anybody about anything too!
Please accept my apologies with this flower I bought you, and don't be afraid, the moon wouldn't reject someone right away right?

//

Minju would have been more grateful without mentioning the last part of the apology letter. Still, she was astonished by her anonymous reader's way of apologizing. The flower too was still in a great condition, no creases on the wrapping, and droplets of fresh water was still shining against the sun like little glass beads.

The lid of her favorite fountain pen was put in place. It would be a shame to start picking out each individual bud like that, so Minju only picked some out and started to press them onto the back pages of her pink journey log, the rest were kept in a separate notebook she had, not wanting to completely ruin both her cherished adventure diary or the flower itself.

She left not too long after that, leaving another one of her message hanging out for her reader to come and find.

-

"I heard you suspiciously used the back entrance of the building, would you like to elaborate miss Kim Chaewon?"

"None of your business."

Chaewon shuts her locker with a hard bang and starred straight into the interrogator's eyes with a serious attitude.

"Come on, where's the fun? What are you bringing in now, huh?"

"Maybe you would like to bring in some intelligence to the school then, miss Yena."

Chaewon walked off down the hallways without saying another word to her best friend, which of course, raised even more suspicion.

"I WILL FIND OUT WHAT IT IS!"

This concluded that Yena's voice is louder than a megaphone, normally a shout would be drowning into the sea of speeches of a typical hallways, but this was like spotting gold under a clear river, Chaewon was sure everyone heard Yena's shouting. It didn't waver her one bit though, nobody saw her afterwards, she was safe for the time being.

-

"Fucking hell it has to be today huh."

The sky was turning into a darker blue, the sun haven't started its leave just yet so she thought that she would still make it in time, also leaving Minju alone downtown for too long wasn't the best thing to do as well. She puts the ball back into the box, placed the helmet down onto the grass and bolted for the exit.

"Woah woah, Chaewon where are you going? We still have another round?"

"Tell Captain I have my geography final to do for me alright Hyewon!"

The confused backstop catcher stood up and threw her arms into the air, it was unavoidable she guesses, but judging from that sly smile and waves that the escapist signaled out before she left, Hyewon hopes that it was true, she didn't want any trouble on her part either.

Chaewon didn't take anything with her apart from the important matters, she just got changed and chased the latest bus according to the schedule, luckily it was the evening's rush hour so the bus were slower and more frequent to find.

The wind drifts her hair to the side a little, she turned back to the half running pace that Chaewon was doing towards her direction. Giving a convincing smile as she tucks her caramel twirls behind her ears.

"You're almost late."

"Sorry, got held back a little at practice.."

Chaewon looked up and was stunned of what was placed in front of her eyes. It wasn't even that much effort, nothing was worth making a special mention of. The sun was hiding behind the clouds, the wind was doing its job perfectly normal too. But somehow this scene was perfect to Chaewon. It's her aura, it's the air around her enchanting everything making it perfect, just like Minju.
