A Gamble of Fate

Slater woke up the next morning with an energized, exercising feeling, like he needed to be productive. Classes were back starting, so he had to get his backpack ready. He put all of his keychains for his Keyblade on the zipper's of the bag. His Dream Eater, or Spirit's were inside of the case in there as well. Since the building's were unstable, they'd have to spend awhile in the bunkers. Exactly six more days.

He got dressed, as his mind was swirling with feelings. Confused, because of his dreams and recent thoughts. His memories had really affected his mind, he felt depressed most of the time, because there was something missing. He felt something wrong was brewing, with the organization back and everything.

He walked through many huge corridors, (considering how big the cement bunker's were) and encountered some student's, about a year or so younger than him. They weren't going to the same class.

What if he had done something, and purposely made himself forgot. He pondered for what seemed like forever. Suddenly, the corridor got longer, and it became darkn, like he was hallucinating. He started to panic. Then, he found himself sitting on a bench near his class, Roy shaking him out of it. "Slater whats wrong?" His face changed. It was a man with short blonde hair in an organization coat. "Wah!" Slater stood up. He summoned the Rainfell. "Who are you?" Two voices started to talk. Roy was saying, "Slater, it's me," the other was the man. "You'll find out. Now get to class, scum." And with that, he was gone. "Slater?" His vision returned to normal. "I don't know.. it just.."

During class was boring. This teacher wasn't Aqua, she was teaching the older student's today. Slater was secretly playing with Meowjesty the whole time.

Afterwards, he walked out of class. He went to check his D-Link, which tied him whith others. He could gain their powers, Aqua had taught him. After that, he saw the man again. "Who are you?" Slater asked firmly. "Luxord. My order's were to stop anyone getting in our way. Today's your lucky day." "As if! I'll slice you in half with my Keyblade!" Slater yelled back. "So, your hot tempered too," Luxord said as he summoned cards. "Card's, out of all the weapons?" Slater laughed. "Oh, but we won't play fair today." Luxord said.

Luxord threw a card at Slater, it hit his Keyblade, and it absorbed into the card. "Huh?" "The card's in your back pack. Let's gamble." "Uh, I'm fourteen." Luxord laughed. Slater's cards immediately summoned in his hand, inbetween his fingers. "This is a battle of time." A clock appeared above their heads. "What?" The first one to lose all of their time loses. Begin!" Luxord made his card's huge and they started to attack around. Slater jumped on the wall, and thew his crown-shaped sharp fire card's at him.

They sliced through him, and some of his coat lit on fire. "Oww! Oh, take this!" He threw some card's at slater. As Slater jumped off the wall to dodge, but the card's got his jacket, and pinned him to the wall. "Woah!" Slater said. Luxord jumped onto a card, rode it up to him, and his other cards floated around him, pointing at Slater's throat. "Guess your out of time!" Luxord said. "Not yet!" Slater slipped out of his jacket, kicked Luxord off of his Card board, and rode it down to him. He was just getting up, as slater stole all of his cards, and they grew into three big cards. He threw them forward, and they sliced threw the opponent, and he was almost out of time.

Finally, Slater summoned Meowjesty, and he appearded as his big life-sized version this time. Slater jumped on him, and stomped ontop of Luxord. "Owoowowowowo!" Luxord yelled. Meowjesty de-summoned, and returned into his backpack. The card that had held his Keyblade, now turned back into his actuall Keyblade. "Take this!" Slater said. He sliced Luxord as he dissapeared, and fell into the ground. He looked across the room. Card's everywhere. Then he popped up, had two huge ones, and was whailing on Slater's keyblade.

"But these are cards!" Slater yelled. He kept blocking, untill finally, they stopped. With one final strike, Luxord was defeated. The portal appeared again. "I'll be back..!" He said. "Oh no ya don't!" Slater ran toward the portal. He went through.

Luxord had already dissappeared, but Slater was falling into endless darkness, untill his Keyblade armor summoned. The darkness around him turned into the Lane's Between. He was floating, but the other world's had lock's on them. "I should wait," Slater said. He slowly drifted towards Radiant Garden. He arrived inside of the bunkers. Aqua walked up to him. "Slater! We can go outside again!"

"Already?" Slater said. "Yeah, they were fixed sooner than expected." Aqua replied. Slater took off his helmet, it burst into light. They stared at the sky. It suddenly turned, orange, like a sunset. "The sky!" Slater said. Aqua held out her Keychain, or wayfinder, after she summoned her Keyblade. "Connected forever."

Somewhere in the worlds, The Lingering Will held up his Keyblade. "Never forget."

In Castle Oblivion, The boy's Keyblade summoned. He whispered, "Friends, forever."

Slater held up his Wayfinder on the Oathkeeper. "It's a promise."
