"Now, let's start where we left off. You defeated my silhouettes, now you have to challenge me." Slater pressed one of the sharp metal plates on his back and his mask-helmet shattered into light. "Wait what?" He asked. "Don't worry, the Keyblade armor will protect you." WHAT? He had only been in training for what, 3 days? Now he has to fight his teacher? At least it's better than going to those really boring classes. Aqua is his favorite teacher after all. She summoned her Keyblade. "Get ready to fight me! the battle will start in oh, let's make it 30 seconds." 30 seconds! He had to get his helmet back on. He did and summoned his Keyblade.
He knew no magic whatsoever so Aqua would have to teach him. How? He wondered. "Ten seconds!" She yelled in the echoing cave. "5,4,3,2,1, go!" Who would make the first move? She was cartwheeling all around him, trying to dodge his attacks. He swung his blade at her, but failed miserably, "Fire!" She yelled and three huge fireballs shot out of her Keyblade. He dodged by rolling and lunged toward her when she was off guard. "Gotcha!" He made an aerial strike, slashing her helmet 3 times in midair, then throwing her up in the air, on his back, and then with one final slash she went to the other side of the room. Her helmet broke. "Oh God I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Do you need he-" "don't worry about it Slater I'm fine! The Keyblade armor protects its user. Great job! I've never seen a technique like that before." He de-summoned his armor and his Keyblade.
"Let's get back to the academy." she said. Slater nodded, and proceeded through the secret cave. As they were walking back, Slater again looked up at the purple sky.
"Do you think the sky will ever turn blue here?" He asked Aqua. "I got to see the place with a blue sky" she said as she was smiling. Slater started to smile too. "Remember how you said you had a couple friends who reminded you of me? Who are those friends?" Aqua stopped walking. She stared up at the sky and said their names. "Terra, Ven, those were their names.. But they're gone now." She started walking again. "Where? Where did they go?"
"It's kind of hard to explain," Aqua replied.
