The War Against Radiant Garden Part 1

Slater ran to the Postern, where he met up iwth the restoration gang. "What's happening!!??" He asked as the ground rumbled even more. "I don't know! Get out of here while you can!" Cloud replied back. Slater ran towards Aqua. "Slater, I hvae to protect everyone! Can you see whats happening? I think its in the Great Maw.." Slater nodded, and was off.

As he ran, he noticed something he that wasn't there before or was there and he didn't notice. There was a gaping hole in the postern's castle. There was a rusty old ladder leading down to what seemed like nothing. He decided to check it out later.

He was about to reach the ravine trail, when he was stopped by something. A void appeared infront of him, and a man came out in a black hood. "You again!" Slater summoned his keyblade as he called. The man summoned his spears. "Yes, it's me, traitor." He pulled off his hood. It wasn't the pink haired man, but the spear guy, who had a strange hairstyle that flew all over the place. "What's your name!" Asked Slater. "Xaldin, the name that will kill you." His heart started to pound. "Yeah right! I'll show you!" He ran towards Xaldin. His spear multiplied and multiplied untull they created an air forcefield around him. He was being blown back by his force.

Slater threw his Keyblade at Xaldin, It flew right back at him. He grabbed it off the ground, and dodged the next spear attack which would have sliced him in half. "Get over here!" Xaldin yelled as he tried to catch Slater. "Gotta catch me first!" Slater replied. He kept dodging around him, so fast, he started to make duplicates of himself. "Try and catch me now!" They all said. He would have to find the real one. "What the? No!" They all attacked Xaldin with the keyblade. "Ya!" They all repeatedly yelled. He was vulnerable. "Now, to break the force field!" The real Slater yelled. He jumped up with his Keyblade, And transported into the wind forcefield and bashed on Xaldin. His clones did the same. Xaldin was vulnerable now.

"Now!" Slater yelled. All of his clones bursts into light and went into his Keyblade. It was shining. He lifted the blade up, and swung through Xaldin. Xaldin's spears dropped to the ground and burst into shadows. He dropped to his knees. "Y-you you t-t traitor!" He stuttered as he talked. "What are you talking about!" Slater yelled. "My name is Slater!" Xaldin started to disappear into a dark void. "No it's time to finish this!" Slater ran towards the void to finish off Xaldin. He was held back by a force. "Kid, I don't know what your doing but you need something to protect you in the lanes between!" Another man with spiky red hair in the coat was standing behind him.

Slater fell to his knees. "Are you here to kill me too?" He angrily yelled. "Calm down, man. I was once with the organization. But now I'm whole, and I want to start over. The name's Axe- I mean Lea, got it memorized?" "Uh sure." Slater activated his Keyblade armor. "Good, got yourself something to protect you, I see." Slater nodded. Lea wasn't hostile towards him. He sensed it.

"I gotta go see what's up in the great maw, I'll catch you later Lea." Slater ran off, but he was stopped by Lea again. "Wait!" "What is it?" "Take this coat." It was the same black coat that they were wearing. "It's protection for the lanes between." "Got it."

Slater ran to the great maw, and saw a raid of darkness he had never seen before. The ground was shaking even harder. He screamed but the noise was too loud for anyone to hear him. He put his Keyblade armor on. The heartless wouldn't stop coming. He grabbed his keyblades both the Two Become One, and the Oathkeeper. He started to throw the keyblades around the heartless. Beams of light started to shoot out of them. Then he cast a fire spell to wipe out the heartless. It seemed to explode everything around him, and his Keyblade were moving on their own, but he was still controlling them.

He noticed another man with the coat, but the heartless went straight through him. "Hey!" Slater yelled. The heartless ran faster, they got bigger each time they passed him. His keyblades dropped to the ground. He couldn't move, he was frozen. He felt his mask cracking. "What the!" He couldn't move! He fell to the ground. He was cold now, covered in ice.

The hooded man walked up to him. He was much taller than Slater. He didn't speak. He didn't do anything. He hear a weapon summon, but he couldn't see because his helmet was cracked and caked with ice.

He saw something in the distance rush down and do the explosion move Slater had done on his first day of training. The figure that did the explosion was Aqua. "Aqua!" He excitedly said. "Let's get you out of here." The ground was still rumbling. The figure was on the ground. It stood up. It lunged to slater, as he was now unfrozen. "Aqua!" Aqua tried to stop the figure, but it threw her aside. "Ah!" She flew back. "Who are you!" He walked right through Slater, like a ghost.

"WOAHH!" He screamed in pain. He fell to the ground, like encountering Sephiroth. The figure turned around, and threw Slater a card in the shape of a crown. He somehow caught it. "What's this?" He looked at it. It was a card with a picture of.. A destroyed Radiant Garden. The words "Hollow Bastion" popped into his mind. "This is a portal to Hollow Bastion, the ruined version of Radiant Garden." Slater said. "Isn't it?"

A door appeared from out of nowhere. He held up the card. It evaporated into light. The door opened. Darkness seeped out. Slater was scared. His heart beating fast. Because whatever was on the other side,

It might make the end of him.
