We all sit in quiet and wait to see if our plan worked. Finally I hear the door open and I jump up to see who it is. Thomas and Gally with Teresa, she has something over her head but I can tell by her brown curls that are sticking out that it is her. They sit her down in a chair and take the bag off of her head, she looks around at the room shocked by I guess seeing how many of us were still alive. She opens her mouth to say something but is cut off by Gally "Here's how this is gonna go, we are gonna ask you some questions and you are gonna answer them all. Here, we will start of simple." Gally says and stands to grab a chair and sit infront of her "Where Minho?!" He asks sternly "you guys don't really think-" Teresa goes to say something but is again cut off by Gally "Dont look at him. Look at me, he's not gonna help you." Gally says referring to Thomas. "We know you have Minho in the building..Where?!" Gally asks "He is with the others in holding... so level 3." She answers quietly "How many are there?" Newt asks "28." Teresa answers I turn around to look at Brenda "I can make that work..." she says "no no you guys don't understand, the whole level is restricted. You guys couldn't get in without a thumb print ID." Teresa says with a bit of confidence in her voice "That's why you are gonna come with us." Thomas says "Well... I don't know, we don't actually need her right? Just her thumbs." Gally says as he stands up and moves the chair going to grab a knife. "Gally.. knock it off." Thomas answers "What are you squeamish? I bet she has done a lot worse to Minho." Gally says obviously getting angry. "That's not in the plan." Thomas says calmly taking the knife from Gally hand. "I don't care do what you want to me, you still won't get through the front door. They will pick you up as tagged." Teresa speaks causing me to roll my eyes at how dense she is. "Nope, you are gonna help us with that too." Thomas says while handing Teresa the knife.
Teresa is able to get all of the chips out of our necks.
Jorge decided though that he was gonna go ahead and go so he can get some things ready for  the final part of the plan. Brenda and Jorge say their goodbye and he leaves.
"She looks healthy, I didn't think she would still be alive." Teresa says looking at me "when was her last treatment?" She asks "At the right arm." I answer not making eye contact with her "But.. that was months ago.." she said with confusion on her face "Y/N, that's not possible. She should have turned by now.. there's no way she should still be-" Teresa says but I cut her off "Thats enough." I say slamming my chair into the table and leaving the room. I join Newt who is changing clothes and packing things up to get ready to leave. I walk over and out my hands around his waste, he quickly pulls his long sleeve shirt over body and turns to face me "Are you okay love?" He asks brushing a piece of arm from my face "Yeah.. I'm just nervous." I answer and it's true I'm really nervous for what's gonna happen.. "Everything will be okay love, I promise. I'm not gonna let anything and happen to you." He says as he kisses my forehead "I know.. we just need to stick together." I answer melting my body into his as he pulls me into his warm embrace. "Together." He answers and gives me one more quick peck on the forehead. Gally walks in and tell us we are gonna head out soon snd my heart drops. I have such a bad sick feeling and I can't describe why.
So basically the plan here is to steal security uniforms and use Teresa to break into WCKD... Sounds easy enough right? I roll my eyes at the thought of it.
We each get suited up in the security uniforms and follow behind Teresa deeper into the building. I'm breathing heavy due to my nerves. Teresa is also breathing heavy and has an awful look on her face "stop looking like that." I say quietly and nudge her arm. She gets through a door that Gally is behind waiting on us, he has found a power panel and begins trying to bust it open to put something in there that will make the system glitch. I look over at Newt who is bent over the stairwell and coughing. I run back to him "are you okay?" I ask in a slight panic "yes sweetheart, I'm fine. Let's go alright?" He answers back pulling his mask back over his face. Thomas calls to Frypan and Brenda to ask how their end of the plan is going and they both answer back "working on it" Thomas nods and signals for us to keep moving.
We walk steadily through the halls and following close behind Teresa she leads us to the control room, where they can see all the cameras and where the rooms where WCKD's hostages are kept and hopefully where Minho will be. And the most important thing in there is some of the cure. She uses her key card to open the door and we are met by another security guard. Thomas and Neat quickly raise their guns to the man and hit him the weapon before he can fire first. We all 3 make our way in and start taking out each guard that was in there. Once they are all out I quickly start going around to room ushering the kids out "Come on guys!" I say in a hurried tone but a kind one trying not to freak them out. My brother and Newt help clear out the kids as well. Gally goes to where the cure is kept and starts trying to weld open the door. "This might take some time guys." He says before dropping his stuff and digging out his tools. I go into a room looking specifically looking for Minho "Shit. He's not here." I tell the group Thomas walks up to Teresa cornering her "Where is he?!" He asks demanding an answer she makes her way to a computer "someone has moved him to the medical wing.. Thomas that's on the other side of the building..." she says and sighs "alright then, you are gonna take us to him right now." Thomas answers grabbing his mask and Newt and I follow behind him. "I'll get the serum and meet you guys out back!" Gally yells before getting back to work.
Teresa leads us to the medical wing and to get there we have to get on an elevator. I'm very hesitant but follow anyways. As we step on there is someone else in there with us.. I look over my shoulder and I see rat man. Of course. I could kill this shank right now for everything that has happened to us. To Minho. We all try to keep our cool and stay calm as the rat man speaks to Teresa "Your working late." He says with a smug look. Teresa just huffs at his comment "You know that's what I have always liked about you, no matter how bleak things get, you never give up. You know in times like this you really need a friend you can count on." Rat man says "I'll uh bare that in mind.." Teresa stutters out "there is one thing you should know.. Thomas is here. If he tries to contact you if he does.. I would like to think i would be your first call." He says looking at Teresa. My heart drops at his comment. "Are you gonna kill him?" Teresa asks quietly "Would that be a problem?" He asks back but before Teresa could answer the doors opened. Good timing. "This is me." She says and we follow her out. I'm lost in my own thoughts as we walk down the hall the only thing pulling me out was Teresa saying my name "Thomas, Y/N you guys have to listen to me... your all's blood is different, I don't understand it. Please let me run some tests. People are dying and you guys can save them. I can keep you both safe." She pleads "oh yeah? Like you kept Minho safe?!" Thomas asks pulling his mask off walking angrily towards Teresa. Newt puts his hand on him and pulls him back "how many more people have to be tortured and get killed until this all stops?!" Thomas asks his face filled with rage. I try to calm him down but he is too far gone to hear anything else right now. "It stops when we find a cure." Teresa answers with tears in her eyes "there is no cure!" I yell but before Teresa can answer I see rat man turn the corner holding a gun pointed at us "Dont waist your breath Teresa!" He said walking closer to us "He made his choice long ago." Rat man exclaimed as 3 more guards run up the hall towards us. Thomas holds up his gun to Jansen and the guards yell "Drop it kid!" Thomas does the unthinkable and grabs Teresa and points the weapon to her head. "Back up! Tell them to back off Teresa!" Thomas yells "Come on Thomas... I know you won't do that." Rat man says "oh really?!" Thomas answers back "prove me wrong then." Rat man smirks Teresa breaks from Thomas' embrace and pushes us all back and pulling the fire alarm causing the door to shut with us behind it. Did Teresa just... help us?
We walk through the halls with our heads down because our faces are now exposed. I stay as close as possible to Newt. The sirens are still sounding above us and people are staring. I hope Fry, Gally and Brenda are doing okay with their half of the plan.
We are close to the medical wing and we are digging bullets left and right and firing when we can. We make it to the end of a hall and we thought we were finally clear but we are met by another security guard and I know I'm out of ammo and I could figure they are too. "Hands up! I said hands up!" The guard yells I look frantically and the two boys and Newts points the weapon at the man and before I can even look away someone comes out of nowhere and slams the guard into a wall causing him to fall to the ground. I looked back up and did a double take, it was Minho! I thought I was seeing things. All 3 of us run to hug him immediately. "Is this real?!" He asks "yes it is." I say and we all chuckle.
