Thomas POV:
I wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I look over at my friends who have since become family. I look over at my sister for a minute, I found myself smiling at how proud of I am of her. She blinks her eyes open "Thomas shut up, your thoughts are so loud and it early in the morning." She groans and puts a pillow over her ears. I chuckle at her answer I decide to get up and take a walk on the beach. The safe haven is even more beautiful then any of us could have ever imagined. I look up and see someone else also standing on the beach looking out over the ocean. I walk towards them and notice it's Brenda. "Good morning." I say walking up behind her I let a lot a little laugh as she jumps in response "good morning to you too." She wears a soft smile on her face. "I feel like I owe you an apology..." I said turning my body to face her "what for?" She says "I have treated you so poorly..." I responded in a sigh "I couldn't over my blind love for Teresa.. when she betrayed us I.. I realized I didn't actually love her at all. But I felt forced to be with her because of our last together... but the person I was really falling in love with this whole time was you..." I finished looking at her anxious waiting for her answer. She looks up at me with a shocked look on her face as if she's almost speechless "When I first saw you.. I just knew you were the most beautiful girl I had ever seen." I responded a small blush spread across her face and she reached up and placed her hand on my face. She stands up on her tippy toes and places her lips lightly on mine. "I love you too stupid" she laughs
I turn around to hear the ooo's and ahhhh's coming from Y/N and Newt behind us "Oh shuck it you two!" I laugh and grab Brenda's hand and walk down the beach. We make our way to the memorial stone in the middle of the safe haven.. written on it are the names of our friends we have lost, Alby, Chuck, Ben, Winston, George, Teresa and so many others.. I get chills down my spine as I read all the names. I hate we lost so many but we saved so many in the process. I can't wait for all of us to start our new lives here. I look at Brenda and put my hand on her chin pulling up to meet my lips. "To our new beginning." I smile and she returns it.

Newts POV:
Y/N and I walk down the beach, finishing up our jobs for the day with our fingers interlocked. I look over her at her beautiful face and her eyes locked on ocean and sky. We stop for a minute and her eyes break away from the view and they meet mine. Every time her beautiful (Y/E/C) eyes meet mine I get butterflies. "Y/N, from the time I saw you in the box in the glade as scared greenie, I knew you and I had a deeper connection.. from the day I saw you I knew you were gonna change my life for the better. We have been through hell and back together but we have finally have found peace and stability. I meant what I said back in the scorch months ago, I want to marry you and I want to start a family with you. I love you with everything in me..." I say, I look at Y/N whose eyes are filled with tears and smile on her face spanning from ear to ear "what I'm trying to say is will you marry me?" I say smiling "of course! Duh I will!" Y/N responds as she jumps into my embrace "I love you so much Newtie." She says wiping a tear falling from my eye "I love you more sweetheart." I tell her, giving a sweet peck on the lips. Out of the corner of my eye I see Mary walking over with Sonya. " Congratulations you two!" Mary smiles and Sonya nods in agreement "I hate to ruin such a beautiful moment, but Y/N may I borrow your fiancé for a minute?" Mary asks smiling at Y/N. "Of course." She responds
We walk forward until we reach a tent, we all go inside and Mary welcomed us to sit down. I sit down next to Sonya and Mary stands in-front of us "So I wanted to tell you both this way sooner... but things got in the way.. Neither of you guys remember but you two came to WCKD at a very young age.. Your all's mother actually had the flare, she wanted what was best for you two...." Mary trails off "uh.. our mom?" Sonya says we both look at each other with confused looks on our faces "Yes, you guys are siblings.. you both have different abilities so WCKD thought it was fit to separate you two." Mary continued with a smile on her face. I look at Sonya and we both stand up and hug each other. "Well.. we have a lot to catch up on huh?" I say to Sonya and we both laugh. This is amazing.. I never thought I would have a family like this. I feel so lucky to be here with all of them, especially Y/N.
I walk over to my fiancé who is talking to Brenda about our new engagement. They are both giggling like school girls and talking about it. Brenda and Thomas are also finally together so of course they are giggling about that as well. I walk over to Y/N and Brenda goes off to meet of with Thomas.
"Who would have thought?" She said smiling "thought what sweetheart?" I said looking down at her "who would have thought that you and I and all our friends would be here together? Safe and peaceful." She said smiling "I always knew.. deep down." I replied, she looked up at me and smiled again, before nuzzling her head into my chest. I put my arm around her and we sat in the sand looking over at this beautiful safe haven we have all created.
