Chapter 14

I soon reach a small clearing in the trees and I here people moving around me. I spin around cautions and listening for any hidden intent. "Who's there? I can hear you." I growl lowly. I hear a twig snap and I whirl around to face them. "Ben?" I ask relaxing slightly. He smiles his eyes not the blue it was before at school. "You figured me out that quickly?" He asks chuckling as a few others step into the clearing. Those being Jeff, Lui, Jane, Toby, and a male I hadn't met before. "Yeah, wasn't hard with you guys using your real names while going to school." I sigh and Ben punches me in the arm and I chuckle. "Let's get back to the mansion before your mother comes after you." The male says and leads the way. I lightly jog to keep up with them a small smile on my face. I am free of that women, never again will I have to see her. But every twig snap I jump a little on edge even though I know she won't follow me this deep into the forest. We soon reach a manor and I stare up at it in awe. "This is huge!" I say. The others chuckle and we head inside. Once I step through the door Levi tackles me in a hug. I fall backwards and lands on my ass Levi hugging me tightly afraid to let go. "Hey Levi. It's okay. You don't have to strangle me." I rub his back and he looks up at me. "You are such a bitch." He says punching me in the chest. "Ow, I think I deserved that." I mutter pushing him off. "You cut your hair." Levi says his eyes widening. "Yeah. Did it a few days ago while escaping while Toby had Mother and Tyler distracted." I say. "Tyler?" Levi tilts his head. "Oh yeah. Never told you, technically our "step dad" Married him while I was running around staying out of sight. But He is dead now so no need to worry about you ever meeting him." I say my words laced with slight fear and satisfaction.
