Her Story

Chapter 5

I hear the intercom buzz and everyone in the lunch room falls silent. "Will JD Tucker come to the front office please?" the front desk lady's voice echos in the lunch room. I grab my crutches and leaves the room as everyone watches me. I reach the office and nods to the lady as she points to the principal's office. I knock on the door then walks in sitting in the chair across from him. The door closes and King looks up at me, smiling, and his human form disappears being replaced  with his real form. Horns go from his head and his skin turns red. Pupils turning to slits and his teeth sharpens. "What ever you called me here for must be extremely important for you to use your true form Zalgo." I hum tilting my head. "It is, I have some more info on your mother. Sorry it took me a while I had figure out what I need to search to get what I wanted. Turns out your mother had a family before you and Sun. A husband and two sons. But they were killed some how or by some one but I will need to dig more to figure that out because your mother payed a lot of people to keep the really important details hidden and away from the public's eye even though her tragedy at the time was the biggest thing that happened. " He says and I nod my head. "Interesting. So I have a question, the new kids. They work for one of your friends? I think that is the only reason they would be allowed at this school." I hum. "Yeah, they do. It adds more protection for you and Sun until you can escape to the forest. Which I heard Sun made it there a few nights ago." Zalgo looks at me. "Yeah, I contacted him before you called me do to make sure he was safe. Staying with one of your friends." I smile softly. "What happened to your ankle? I just barely noticed it." He says. "Mother Dearest. Broke it last night in a fit of rage. Stupid Bitch." I mutter. Zalgo growls and gains a dark look on his face. "For being the King of the Creepy Pastas you really care for me and Sun." I sigh as I know the look. He is planing to pay mother a visit in her dreams. "Of course. You both gained some of my powers from me chasing your father. One of you will be my successor." Zalgo says and waves his hand fixing my ankle. I reach down and crack the cast off and rotates my ankle and sighs in relief. Zalgo slowly turns back to his human self as there is a knock on the door. "Come in." King says and the lady opens the door and I catch a glimpse of the group standing on the other side of her desk. "These guys came up to see if everything was okay and JD wasn't in trouble." She says smiling sweetly. "Yes of course. You may go now JD." King says and I nod getting up and walking out of the room. I walk over to them and smiles softly. "You guys didn't need to worry about me. "I chuckle. "Yeah, but the way everyone in the cafeteria looked at you as you left was like you had gotten in trouble." Ben says as we walk down the hall to our next class. "Nah, Principal King had something for me. That's all. I am his favorite so if I cause any trouble it gets overlooked and passed off as necessary actions. " I hum and soon the bell rings for the end of the school day. I walk out the main doors and walks down the side walk my hood flipped up covering my face. I jog down the road my back pack thumping against my back. Soon I reach the cove and I walk over to Jay, Alex and Jess's place. I knock on the door and rocks on my heels humming softly. I hear someone press against the door and I look over. "Moonlight Dance." I whisper softly and the door unlocks swinging open. I step inside and the door is shut behind me.
