Chapter 30

I tilt my head slightly but then shakes it off and looks back at the others. "Is that how you two got your powers? Going to Ever Blue?" Jane asks. I shake my head. "No actually, We were born with them. Our dad was being hunted by Zalgo when he met up with our mom and had us." I shrug. "It was not my intention to give them powers. But I just kind of happened and that's when it was reviled to me that they were the ones I was waiting for." Zalgo says ruffling Levi and I's hair. I roll my eyes and scoffs slightly. "Yeah, then you basically tried to kidnap me and Levi from our home to raise us yourself but we kept getting away that you gave up. So you built the school to keep an eye on us." I say crossing my arms. Zalgo laughs and nods his head. "I couldn't allow you two to be out and about with me not having any contact with you after what happened with your father." Zalgo growls lowly. I look at him, he seems to know more about what happened to Dad than I do. I hum softly and looks at Slender. "So what's the plan now? Those two have powers. Who is going to train them Zalgo?" Slender asks. Zalgo hums to himself. "Well, I can train Levi, His powers are similar to mine." He says and I flinch slightly. "Then I'll train JD. She controls shadows, I can figure out ways to make her stronger." Slender says and I can feel his gentle gaze on me. I smile softly and looks at my feet. "So then training will begin immediately. Levi, go pack your things." Zalgo says and I look up my eyes wide. Levi looks equally surprised, "Huh?! What do you mean by that?" We cry out in shock. "Well I can't train you here. To be stronger you need to gain more powers. JD has already unlocked more recently." Zalgo says and Levi looks at me. "I was going to tell you when I woke up but you were asleep at the time." I say. He nods and looks at Zalgo. He sighs and heads up stairs. I bite my lip tears building up and I race after him. "Levi, you can't seriously be thinking about going. We haven't been apart since we were young. I mean we were apart for a few days but this means you'll be gone years." I say nearly bawling now. 'Yeah, I am. We need to be come stronger if we are going to be rulers JD. I know it will be different for the both of us but I know this is the right thing to do." He says shoving his clothes into his bag. I bite down hard on my lip not realizing it started to bleed. "But," I start but Levi looks at me. "Jasper," I freeze up at him calling me by my full name, "I know you don't like this but I need to do this. We both do, and if leaving each other then we must do it. For the best of the future." Levi says before zipping up his bag and tossing it over his shoulder. He walks up to me and hugs me tightly. "See you later Big sister. I love you." He says and leaves the room. I collapse to my knees as tears cloud my vision. 'Zalgo, take care of him, please. I can't lose him too.' I whimper.
