Wednesday, half day lang ang klase namin dahil may assessment ang mga professor. When Silas found out about that, he immediately asked me to have lunch with him.
He's still in a meeting so he told me to wait for him at his office.
Silvanus Aubertin:
Wait for Gracie. She'll fetch you at the lobby.
That's his reply when I texted him that I'm on my way.
Me:
Ok.
Nasa meeting sya pero nakuha nya pang replyan ako ah. When I arrived at the Aubertins Hotel, hindi ko pa nakita si Ms. Gracie kaya naupo nalang muna ako sa isa sa mga couch sa lobby para doon sya hintayin.
"I'm sorry, ma'am. But Mr. Aubertin is at an important meeting right now and he also told us that he can't entertain a visitor today..."
Napalingon ako sa hotel clerk na mukhang nahihirapan nang pakiusapan ang isang babaeng guest.
I looked at the woman. She looks older than me, siguro mga ka-edad ni Silas. She's tall and have a slim body. She's wearing a backless collar shirt blazer that's terno with her trousers. Naka-white pumps sya at naka-sunglasses, she's also wearing a big heart shaped earring and a bright red lipstick. Nakatali lang ng low-ponytail ang itim at diretso nyang buhok.
Hindi ko tuloy naiwasang mapatingin sa suot ko. I'm just wearing a black Tee tuck-in with my high waisted skirt, then a leather sneakers. Tapos ang black calfskin backpack ko na nakasabit sa likod ko. We look different. I can't wear something like what she's wearing. She looks mature and sophisticated. Ganito ba ang mga type ni Silas?
"Just tell him I'm here. For sure, Silv will let me in." The woman proclaimed.
Silv? I think, I heard someone call Silas that on the phone. Don't tell me, she's that woman?!
"Sorry po talaga, ma'am." Sambit nang clerk.
"Fine. Then, I'll wait here until he come out!" Padabog na iniwanan noong babae ang clerk.
I quickly looked away when I saw her walking towards my direction. She sat on the couch infront of me. The hell?
The woman kept on calling on her phone. I already have an idea who's she's calling. Damn you, Aubertin.
"Ugh! Why he's not answering my calls?" She spouted.
Inabala ko nalang ang sarili sa paglalaro ng racing game sa phone ko habang naghihintay. I can feel that the woman kept on staring at me. Siguro nagtataka kung bakit ako nandito. Well, sorry nalang sya. Ako ang pinapunta nang hinahanap nya.
Napatingin ako sa babae nang bigla syang tumayo. Sinundan ko sya ng tingin, that's when I saw Ms. Gracie coming out from the elevator.
"Gracie..." The woman in sunglasses called Ms. Gracie. So, she also know Silas' secretary, huh.
"Ms. Boselli..." Si Ms. Gracie. Nagkatingin pa kami bago sya tumingin sa babaeng nasa harapan nya.
