y/c/n: your company's name

Back to the same old routine of regular classes. Ugh, I hate this. Koushi went back to Karasuno, leaving Sakusa and me behind at this gloomy school. I wish I could just snap my fingers and travel back in time to the US, where things were a little more interesting.

I remember spending my childhood there, then moving to Karasuno and finally ending up in Tokyo. Dad is the CEO of Y/C/N in the US. We moved from the States to Miyagi since the company has branches all around the world, including here in Japan.

"Mom, I've been wanting to go back to the States," I blurt out. "Are you sure about that, honey?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, I can always come back here whenever. Just buy me a ticket, and I'll manage on my own over there for a bit, especially if Dad's still got business here. I can always come back whenever the mood strikes,"

"What do you think, Dad?" Mom throws the question his way.

"I think she should, time for her to spread her wings a bit and not rely solely on us. She's nearly 17, after all. You should give her the green light now."

"Alright, then I'll buy a ticket for you. When are you thinking of leaving?"

"Tomorrow evening," I decide. "Sounds good."

Excitement's bubbling up inside me as I pack my stuff. The thought of heading back to the States gets my heart racing. I'll catch up with my friends there - Haru, Emma, Ray, Norman. I CAN'T wait to see them again. And of course, I let my friends here know that I'll be going tonight.

Next morning, bright and early, I'm up, dressed, and out the door to school. Spreading the news to my friends garners a bunch of well-wishes and promises to stay in touch. They're the best. Would I have survived without them?

I make sure to give Komori and Koushi the heads up too. Got a solid group of friends here in Japan, but Itachiyama isn't exactly where I've built my social circle.

School's out, and it's straight home to finish packing. Leave some stuff behind, 'cause who knows? Might be back sooner than I think. Then it's a call to our driver, and off to the airport I go. Just gotta wait for that flight now.
