"Babe!" someone exclaimed excitedly, prompting me to look back and see a girl with short dirty blonde hair rushing past me.

"Hm?" I heard another response, followed by the girl saying, "Let's gooooo," with enthusiasm.

As I glanced around, I noticed a familiar boy wearing a mask walking alongside the girl. "Oh my god, it's Sakusa and Kitchi," echoed voices in the corridor.

"Who names their child Kitchi, the fuck?" I joked to Haru, and we both chuckled.

"Hm, so he's got a girlfriend, huh?"

"Yeah, that girl has been after Sakusa since you left. When he finally agreed to date her, she made sure everyone knew about it," Kira explained.

"She's the epitome of a 'pick me' girl,"

"Like, 'Jacob said I was one of the boys'?" I imitated her, and Yuji burst into laughter.

"She's exactly like that," Yuji agreed, still chuckling.

"Why does she dress like that though? Has her fashion sense gone out the window?" I commented.

"sis dresses up like an american middle schooler from 2013" akira said.

"Do you think she'll come up with a better outfit? Not that her current one is cute," I laughed.

The boy's expression softened as he glanced in our direction.

- Sakusa's POV

"Yo, think you'll finally dump Kitchi now that Y/N's back?" Motoya's voice cut through the chatter, his concern evident.

"Yeah, most likely. She's been toxic as hell lately," I admitted, frustration edging my tone. "Always accusing me of cheating, like, chill out, I'm not gonna do that."

"Mhm, Y/N's who you should be with, man. You gotta patch things up with her too, it's been a year," Motoya nodded, his words carrying weight.

Honestly, I'm not even sure why I'm with Kitchi. When Y/N left for the States, it hit me hard. My game suffered, and I just felt off.

Then Kitchi showed up, new girl and all. She seemed cool at first, but everything she did just reminded me of Y/N, which sucked. I wish I'd confessed to Y/N before she left. Maybe things would've been different. But no, Kitchi kept pushing until I caved and went out with her. Big mistake.

Tomorrow, I'm cutting ties with her for real. No backing down this time.
