After the grey-haired semi-exposed me, I heard a knock on the door, sending a jolt of adrenaline through me. Gripping my frying pan—my makeshift weapon of choice—I cautiously approached the door, recalling the self-defense tips Tsumu had imparted on me.

Peering through the peephole, I was met with the sight of Kiyoomi, his familiar figure masked behind his protective gear, holding a plastic bag. "Helloooooo," I greeted him, trying to mask my earlier embarrassment with forced cheerfulness.

He showed me a bag of my favorite snacks, a simple gesture that immediately softened my defenses. "Is your house clean?" he asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

"Of course, I clean every two days," I assured him, feeling a surge of pride at the thought of showcasing my tidiness. As he stepped into my home, he graciously removed his shoes, a small gesture that spoke volumes about his respectfulness.

Once inside, he threw his mask into the trash, revealing his handsome face. "GODDAMN YOU LOOK EVEN HOTTER WITH YOUR MASK OFF YOU SHOULD TAKE IT OFF OFTEN," I blurted out, unable to contain my admiration.

His response was a sincere smile that was followed by a laugh that made my heart race. I couldn't help but feel comfort settle upon me as I plated the snacks he brought. I moved to the couch and curled up next to him, feeling calmed down by his warmth. Though I respected his personal space, I couldn't resist the urge to be near him, especially when he seemed to welcome my proximity.

We watched a scary movie together, his comforting presence driving away any fear I might have had. "First date, huh?" he casually remarked, breaking the comfortable silence between us.

"Hm? Yeah, I like it. It's a simple first date," I replied, my heart fluttering at the realization of what this could mean for us. Then, unexpectedly, he uttered those three words that set my heart racing: "I love you."

My breath caught in my throat as I processed it, the weight of his words sinking in. "Damn, I've been wanting to say that casually since I realized I had feelings for you," he added, his vulnerability mirroring my own.

"Dw boo I love me too 😩☝️," I quipped, trying to lighten the mood with a hint of humor. His laughter filled the room, easing the tension between us.

"I love you too," I whispered softly, wrapping my arms around him in a tight embrace, knowing that this was just the beginning of our journey together.
