"If you see a toilet in your dream. Don't use it." Talon huffs as he hurries past me, grabbing an apple and picking up his school bag from the chair.
I share the same look with Myla and we both try not to laugh at him as he walks over to the archway and turns back just before he leaves the kitchen.
"Rough morning then?" I ask amusingly and he releases a dramatic breath, pushing his backpack up onto his shoulder.
"Rough life." He grumbles as he walks out, adjusting his black glasses, leaving myself and Myla in the kitchen.
"I connect with that boy on a personal level," she mumbles and I chuckle, shaking my head plafully as I bite into another slice of toast.
It's safe to say that Kennedy wasn't overly pleased about the toy I got for Theo yesterday. I don't know why. I mean, Theo liked it and that's the main thing, right? I know it was a little on the big side, but it's not like she hasn't got the room for it in their fucking six bedroom house.
"Adios bichachos!" Talon shouts as he opens the front door, making myself and Myla laugh.
"Bye Talon, have a good day!" I call back just as my mom walks into the kitchen.
She looks at me and shakes her head at Talon's enthusiasm. "That's your fault," she scolds and I hold a hand to my heart innocently.
"Me? What ever could I have done?"
She narrows her eyes, her lips curling into a smug smile. "Oh nothing honey, you're an angel."
Wow, she didn't have to sound so sarcastic.
"I'll be back soon, behave please." She says and I nod, biting another piece of toast.
"Always," I reply innocently and she raises a brow, glancing towards Myla as though she's silently warning her too.
Once I hear my mom leave to take Talon and Titan to school, I stand up and wash my empty plate in the sink, putting it away.
"So, what are we doing today?" Myla asks and I turn around, leaning against the counter as I fold my arms across my chest.
"It's Aven's birthday so we're going bowling tonight, do you want to come?" I offer and she nods happily.
Footsteps echo through the house and I glance up to see Asher peering his head into the kitchen. "Who's birthday?" He asks nosily.
"My friend, Aven's." I reply and Harlow appears from behind him.
"Cute, how old is she?" She asks.
