Jack POV

Jack: and that's what happened.

Ozpin just stood quietly sipping his mug through the whole story. I told him about the training, the encounter with Salem, the part where I need access to the dragon grave, and finally me explaining to coco what I was. Not gonna lie I thought I'd be thrown out a window by the time I was Finished but no. Oz just sat through the whole thing without batting an eye. Honestly it was unnerving when he got like this.

Ozpin: I must say you truly know how to stir up trouble in such a small amount of time jack.

Jack: its a curse I swear.

Ozpin: "sigh" I am happy to hear that team rwby shows great potential and that the training went well but as for the rest of what you told me I am truly unsettled. If Salem had her eye on you then you have to be even more careful with your nightly activities.

Jack: already on it. We're still investigating who was behind the faunas kidnapping at the moment but we feel we're close to an answer.

Ozpin: that's what I like to hear. As for coco I'm not surprised you told her but I trust you had good reason too.

Jack: if I hadn't told her she probably would've brought it up with you or the teachers. so I decided it would be best just to explain to her the bare minimum. She knows what I am but nothing more.

Ozpin: good. Now for the access to the dragon grave there's a problem. There had been a surge of Grimm activity around the sight so it's currently on high alert. No one in or out. If you want to get in you'll have to break in.

Jack: great. I'm assuming that's out of the question?

Ozpin gave me a look and then tapped his desk a few times. A screen popped up out of his desk with a bunch of messages. He tapped a couple of different images and the closed the screen.

Jack: what was that?

Ozpin just dipped his coffee and looked outside at the moon. Before I could ask him anymore my scroll rang. I opened my scroll to find something unexpected.

Jack: did you just send me a detailed list of the sights security personnel and their patrol routes along with the sights ins and outs?

Ozpin: oh did I send that to you? My mistake. Well I guess there's nothing I can do to stop you.

Jack: thanks oz. I'll make sure to only get what I need and get out.

Ozpin: don't thank me. I need you too be at full strength especially now that she's watching you. Just make sure to get what you need. We don't want them to notice that you were there.

Jack: of course. I'll leave tomorrow and be back before they can suspect anything.

Ozpin: please be careful jack.

Jack: I'm always careful! What the worst that could happen?

I walked into the elevator and pressed button for the bottom floor. Ozpin waved me goodbye as the doors closed which I returned with a lazy salute.

Jack: "yawn!" It's pretty late. I should probably get some sleep.

Now it might not seem like much of a deal for me to get some material at the dragons grave but its a very important moment for me. When a dragon starts struggling to control the magic within then they must create a vessel worthy of containing their power.

I never needed to have a vessel until a few years ago. That's when my family died. It tore my world a sunder and sent me into a dark place. I was basically unapproachable during those times. My emotions started to make my power uncontrollable and dangerous so I was given my teachers sword to contain the power until then.
