Jack POV
Jack: and then I just returned to the table. I stayed a little longer with the girls and then came here.
I have been explaining today's events to Riley for the past hour. Let's just say he's having the time of his life. After what had happened with the cafe I stayed with the girls a for a couple hours and then came back to the warehouse where Riley was waiting for me. He asked what happened and I told him I'd explain when we went to his new spot. So here we are. This place had became quite popular ever since a certain bar burned to the ground recently.
Riley: honestly. How bad is you luck for something like this to happen. Do you think she'll be a problem?
Jack: no. I gave here a pretty good scare and besides she know what I'm capable of.
Riley: what ever you say. Here why don't I cover the second round?
Jack: I appreciate that. Thanks.
Riley: no problem. Oh yeah cherry said she'd be a little late. Something about a cat nap.
Jack: of course that's what she's doing. You gonna play some pool tonight?
Riley: was just thinking of asking you the same thing. I'm down how about you? Up for losing some money?
Jack: like I give you any money you shark. You go ahead. I'll play after I have another drink.
Riley: don't take too long.
He waved and then walked over to the back corner of the bar where a set of pool tables sat. As the people playing noticed him they all greeted him like an old friend. Riley might get on my nerves from time to time but he's got connections everywhere these days. If I need something he knows someone's uncle who once sold it to your mother. You get the point.
Jack: hey bartender! Another round.
The bartender walked over and filled my glass back up and then attended to another customer that just sat down. They sat a few seats away and had quite the strange dress. What am I saying everyone in this day and age has a strange fashion sense. Her dress, eyes and hair all matched in color. she was literally pink, brown and white. What the hell is this world coming to? I noticed she had a bit of trouble trying to talk to the bartender. She's a mute it seems. I walked over to where they were sitting and tapped her on the shoulder.
Jack: I got this bar keep. you need some help?
She turned to me with a raised eyebrow and slightly annoyed look. I asked my question again but this time in sign language and her face changed to one of surprise. She replied with yes and asked if they had any ice cream specifically Neapolitan.
Jack: strange thing to ask for at a bar but whatever. She wants to know if you got any ice cream?
Bartender: yeah we got some. What flavor?
Jack: she wants Neapolitan. And you can add that to my friends tab.
Bartender: you got it.
The bartender walked off into the back for the ice cream leaving me with the mute girl. She looked at me and said thank you. She tried to give me some lien but I pushed her hand back.
Jack: don't sweat it. Just wanted to help.
She asked if I wanted to stay and talk for awhile. I was going to decline her offer and join Riley in playing some pool but then I noticed there was already a crowd forming around him.
Jack: why not? The names jack.
Neo: (in sign obviously)Neo.
I took a seat next to her and watched as the bartender came back with a large bowl of ice cream. she looked really happy with it and took a large scoop for her first bite.
