Chapter 7: Less Than a Minute

"Alright now where's this Lisa Lisa?!" Dio raged looking around as if she lives in the house. "Hey HEY! Sit your A$$ down we're not done with this" Juan screamed."We? I think you are the one that's not, I am. I Dio will not waste my time on your bullsh*t". "Can we just have breakfast first... While it's still hot" Hugo said. "Where are your manners Hugo ?! We are not done-" "YOU are th one that's not done and yes let's have breakfast" Dio had this cocky smug on his face. And Juan had no choice but just grunt.

They sat over the dining table and Hugo leads the prayer. It suddenly reminds Dio of how HP scolds him during one of their camps before going against Valentine. She doesn't let him eat before they pray. seeing this Hugo figure acting like his old partner lit his spirit up somehow. And he was more determined to find her. "Now now. Say woman-" "The name's Camila" "Right Camila. Are you sure this Lisa Lisa knows where Hottie lives now?" "...maybe" "But you don't know where Lisa Lisa is?" "Look I don't know who or where she is but she knows and she can assure you that Hot pants is... She's not gonna see you again" Camila hesitated to say what's on her mind.

"Of course she wants to see me again. Even as a dead man myself, she'll understand what I'm saying" Dio laughed. "She's gone okay?" Camila gasped and covered her mouth.

His heart dropped "I knew she couldn't last that long. But isn't that too fast?" Dio slammed the table "Sit down!" Juan yelled "I Dio am not your guard dog you horse!" (You know,,, the Juan Horse meme) "Enough both of you!" Camila scolded them. "Oh c'mon mila you know I didn't start anything and you're always blaming me" "He is lost Juan stop being such a stubborn man to him and it's not only you okay?" "Can we stop the arguing for one second and eat?" Hugo stopped them all. They all ate quietly and just stare at each other every one second. Oh to be stuck with this family, it's a big no no for Dio.

Hugo nudges to Dio's elbow and whispered "You know Mister Brando, I feel like I wanna run away from this house... Well sometimes and you'll probably understand why" "What does that have to do with me?" he whispered back. "You're gonna help me out escape from here" She answered. "What are you chattering about boys?" Juan asked the two. "Juan! what did I told you about not calling her a boy" "I never asked for another daughter!" They continued arguing for the whole breakfast.

Dio and Hugo stared at each other for a bit until Dio snuck her out to get away from this whole argument. They sat under the shades of the tree "So like my dad-" Dio cut her off "Yeah you're father calls you a boy and you're uncomfortable and now you are questioning your gender wether you're comfortable being either a girl or a boy. You feel like you're forced to be a boy and now you've adapted to the system even a part of you is still feminine. Yes I understand" Hugo gasped "How did you guess what's on my mind?" "...Joseph Joestar..." He mumbled "Jos- who?" "Nothing, that came out of nowhere. But I've met someone like that, people thinks she's a guy from the way she acts, and everything, even though her appearance is more of uhh,,, buff female or let's say androgynous. But then at the end of the day her pronouns or gender is her option. After all it's her life and it's her who carries on. I think she's incredible"

"Does she know that you think of her that way?" "I don't think so. I treat her pretty harshly but I know she's a tough one and she won't mind" He smiles drawing circles around his knee. "Oooh looks like someone's in love" Hugo poked fun at him "Pfft it's not like that" Dio chuckles "We don't deserve each other. We have a polar opposite way of living so that's hard" He explained. "Well I really wanna be just like her someday if my parents don't always fight" "Well do you have anything in mind for now?" "I think I do but don't know if this is even real" "Well who knows? If you say it I'll maybe understand" Hugo took a deep breath and spill out her words "I'll choose to be-"

Her words was interrupted by a door slam "HELP MR. BRANDO! Our Clara was kidnaped!" Camila looked in panicked. "It was a phantom we can't really see him but he carried a knife" Juan said "They had a tentacles that suffocated Clara!" Camila explained "There are no tentacles what is this bullsh*t you are making up?" "There was tentacles you can't see it" Dio sighed then he yelled in his demonic Dino voice "WILL YOU Both SHUT IT FOR ONE SECOND?! STOP ARGUING FOR ONCE AND I'LL FIND HER WHILE SHE'S NOT FAR. Now stay quiet like a good kid to you both and Hugo, follow me I don't know what Clara looks like"

"Juan where's the horse?" Dio asked. "There" Juan pointed to the barn across their house. Dio then looked over to Hugo and they both had a reassuring nod and Dio ran over to the barn. He got the horse sprinting and put to his hand for her to grab on "Hop on!" Dio shouted. She grabbed his hand and jumped over o the horse. The horse sprinted away from the house and looked around. "Do you have anything that belongs to your sister?" "Does this napkin do it?" She asked.

"Yes give me it" He took a sniff and directly found the track of the smell. He realized that the kidnapper was below them and He and Hugo were running on the edge of the cliff. "Do you know how to ride a horse?" He asked. "Not really" "Well then stay here and figure something out and I'm gonna get her back. And keep track of me from up here I'll be back in less than a minute, count it down yourself " "Wait what are you doing Mr.Bran-" He jumped off from the horse left Hugo mid-sentence and jumped in his semi-dino form so it's easier to land. "USHYAAAAAA!"

Hugo panicked who's now left on a horse that's running at full speed and tries to figure out how to control it. She figured that Marco (the horse) got slower as Dio jumped out. So she clasped the horse slightly harder between her legs and bounced at a faster pace so she can catch up to the thief's horse that Dio was after. "Clara wait for him he's gonna have you back" Hugo said as she kept going.

Meanwhile Dio was still sprinting and had a jump attack over the kidnapper "10 seconds has passed" he said. He tackled the horse as they rolled off the ground "30 seconds". Dio who was reckless kicked the kidnapper and snatched Clara away from their unknown face "45 seconds". The kidnapper tried attacking him but with his defense and dodges it was useless against him "MUDA DA MUDA!" Dio slapped the kidnapper's face as their robe was flown away, he still can't see their face but a dark icy blue hair and a slight red. He ignored them and climbed up the cliff in jumping motion and reached the top of the cliff and hoped over to Marco the exactly time when the 60th second hits.

"I told you to count for a minute" he chuckled. "You're so cool! I saw you from up here wow that's fantastic how'd you do that?" Her eyes lit with twinkle. "Hmm I'm used to this. It brings back memories of the Steel Ball Run" she smirked.

But that was not how the conflict ends

With the enemy who was still running under the cliff and following them around without them realizing it they smirked and with Dio's stand ability he can hear from a really far distance and he heard a distant voice of someone chuckling "foolish, why would I kidnap the girl? It's useless after all like you said 'Muda da muda'" Dio's eyes widened and that's until his leg was pulled by dark ice blue tentacles with red tips. Familiar? Yes indeed it was the same color as the kidnapper's hair color. He was pulled away as he fell off Marco and followed by falling off the cliff. "What the f*ck?!" He looked down and around him as the side of his mouth ripped into the dino teeth and screamed "Run back home! Leave it to me run!" The last thing he said before he spank Marco with his scaly tail so he'd run faster.
