As much as she hated having the same artist as Olivia, she knew this song and had a routine to it so she called it. It wasn't her favourite, but it was nice, and she knew she could connect with the lyrics.

"Y/n?"

"I'll be dancing to Million Reasons by Lady Gaga, lyrical." She smiled, and Sophie smiled back.

"Lyrical, eh? That's one of the harder styles." She winked. "Good luck."

Turning to the stereo, she went back to YouTube, and searched, coming up with the song. Okay, you can do this Y/n. Breathe. She walked into her starting position, kneeling dawn, her hands cupped in front of her. The first chord echoed, and she didn't move. The second chord came, and she straightened her back, looking up, her hands reaching to the roof. The next few chords came, and she leant to her left, her hand supporting her as she slowly drew her right leg up behind her head. Showing her flexibility early on. She rolled and stood up, preparing for the lyrics.

You're giving me a million reasons to let you go
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Giving me a million reasons
About a million reasons

She clasped her hands together, pushing them to the roof, her body responding to the movement and following wherever it wanted to go from the raise of her arms, before swinging them down and letting of of them as the lyrics commanded, before turning and walking quickly to the back, when it said 'quit the show' she looked back, her eyes glued to the ground. She rolled her shoulder around, following it to prepare, nailing a quadruple skater.

She stepped out of it into a left tilt kick, that reached her head. Yeah bitch. She thought, peeping at Olivia's shocked face. I can do left too. She let the momentum carry her body to the left as she swung the leg down, stepping with her right foot, left, right, lifting her fists up with her arms bent, her back bending slightly. The music continued and so did she.

She let her thoughts and feelings drift, knowing the steps. This happened every time she danced lyrical.

I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away. Not him. She couldn't think about him right now.

But baby I just need one good one to stay. Toru Oikawa. A tear escaped her eye as she pushed her right palm towards the audience, her left hand on her heart. She could see them but she didn't register any of them. She didn't see Olivia's frown, or Stacey's soft smile, or Yachi's own tear that she flicked away. She pulled it into a double kick spin as the music continued again, the tears that had managed to slip ripped out by the exhilarating felling she got from pirouetting, the wind created by it rushing past her face.

Head stuck in a cycle. Yeah. It sure was.
I look off and I stare. She did just that, letting the lyrics direct her movements. This was lyrical after all. Once again, she let herself get lost in the dance, directing her thoughts away from Oikawa. Away from Mr Camreo. Away from the boys in the alley near Sakanoshita Market.

She directed her mind back to  the things that made her happy. Dancing, singing. Her friends.

Yachi's face flashed in her mind, and she smiled softly. The volleyball team. Koshi who had always been there for her, knew everything about her and was still by her side.

Good one, good one, good one, good one, good one.

When I fall down to pray, I try to make the worst seem better. She thought about her older brother, and smiled. She knew what her facial expressions in this would have looked like, and she was glad. It fit with the dance, the heartbroken, desperate song, the emotion she felt. She knew she'd done well.

Lord show me the way to cut through all his worn out leather. She had people she could trust. Her eyes shut, and tears of happiness seeped through. She had friends. She contracted, before leaping into a firebird leap, landing on the floor in her left knee, the right to the side before she kicked it up again, like at the start but much faster.

I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away. She did. She had so many reasons, so many. She could walk away from everything, not have to deal with any of the crap she did, just give in to the darkness and numb the pain. A hundred million reasons.

But baby I just need one good one, good one. Yachi. She had made a friend, someone her age and gender, all by her self. And Yachi was nice, she seemed to care about someone she'd met that day. She cared about Y/n.

Tell me that you'll be the good one, good one. Koshi, her brother who she owed so much to. He loved her, he trusted her, and she trusted him. She knew she'd be safe, maybe even happy if she stayed.

Baby I just need one good one to stay. She knelt down, slowly drawing her hand and body into the same position she started in. An image of a short, energetic boy flashed before her. His spiky chocolate hair, that adorable little golden tuft that lay on his forehead, his swirling, impossibly dark eyes that seemed to always reflect the light, his carefree smile, his little laugh. Her heart flipped. Sure, I have a hundred million reasons to walk away. But I have more then enough for me to want to stay.
