What Is He Doing Here?

This one's extra-long as an apology for the lack of fluff and how much dancey stuff I'm putting here😅

Y/n blinked her eyes open, the golden sunlight already streaming through her window. She let her eyes flit shut again, lying there in her massive circular bed, reaching for the remote on her bedside that opened the shades on her windows. Yes, they were in the basement, but the little light that shone from the gaps that had been dug around the house allowed this warm, beautiful light to shine right through the wall-length windows that ran along the entire section of her room to the left of her bed, and fill the room with an otherworldly glow.

She let the warmth soak through her, doing her best not to think, ignoring the stack of paper that rested on the desk to the left of her bed, not quite on the windows, but a few metres away from her bed, in the corner. It annoyed her to no ends that her bed was one massive circle, in a corner but she couldn't help but admire the shape.

Her room was massive. She didn't know why, as she had so many other rooms in the basement for whatever she needed or wanted to do, but she supposed her parents thought of it as a way to show off to any friend she had around.

Ha. As if she had friends.

An image of the volleyball team flashed through her head. She had a higher point of view than usual, and Kageyama and Hinata were in a pile, Ennoshita and Tanaka going at each other with baseball bats.

Oh no.

Had she seriously gotten hyper again? After the email she received from Sophie she couldn't remember. All she knew was that she was now the dance captain. She'd gotten drunk on good news again. Great.

Heaving herself out of bed, she turned to the clock next to her: 8:43am. Saturday. Thank goodness. Quickly, she pulled her pyjamas off, tugging on her sports bra and shorts, ready to head to her studio. She'd dance, as she always did after going hyper. Dance to forget what she might've said, or done. As always, she'd just dance the entire day. Maybe practice instruments after.

Dashing out the door, she made her way down the corridor to her dance room. She flipped the light on, and closed the door, walking over to the computer. First she'd dance to the song, to calm down. Then, whatever came on. She had a dance for pretty much everything on the playlist, and she really needed to get more confident in improv, so the few she didn't she could make something up. Today would be a day to relax. She turned the music on.

Can you feel my heart beat
Tired of feeling never enough
I close my eyes, tell myself
That my dreams will come true

She smiled

Four dances in, Y/n heard a knock at the door. Koshi-chan must have woken up and heard the music. He must  be wondering what she was doing. She opened the door.

Or not.

"What are you doing here?!" She practically shrieked, as Nishinoya turned bright red, taking in her outfit, as she frantically slammed the door in his face. Oops. She quickly grabbed a towel and draped it over her shoulders, covering a little more up.

"I'm sorry," she opened the door ready to face him again. "I didn't expect to see you here." She shyly tucked her hair out of her eyes and behind her ear. Wait.

Her hair was tied up, and her fringe out of her face. She realised this, with growing uncertainty, until she was enveloped in a hug.

"Y/n! Why do you hide your eye? It's so pretty! Both of them are!" She blushed, as he stared at them, returning his gaze.

"Also, I didn't know you danced." He said, peeking into the room behind her.
